Greenpoint Seeds

I thought I unsubscribed from GPS emails but this one found it's way into my inbox yesterday.

Holy shitballs. Remember those weird self improvement business opportunity videos and infomercials that would come on in the 90s that had that Asian guy on a boat with women in bikinis talking about buying his video to make more money for yourself and live like him?
That shit reminds me of this email from GPS.

So...Did y'all know that there's only 3 breeders now and there was a "cannabis collapse" in 2025?

Cannabis is going extinct y'all so better load up for the zombie apocalypse! For only $1.80 you can avoid losing cannabis forever!

It won't get you high at all but it will get you so much clout in instagram you'd think you were high!

Gu...probably

There's been some crazy shit come and go in this game but damn. @Gu is just a straight up grifter and there's no two ways about it.
Well schooled in the art of gaslighting and using alpha language as a way to bully the thought process.
I hate this timeline where people can just blatantly lie to align with agenda and it's normal and accepted.

The dude is an absolute clown and yet I had someone trying to defend his loser ass last week!
Hes nothing but a joke, that weedseedcoin is a scam and he gets the shit way up and then rug pulls all the people that have paid in.
Hes a giant fucking scumbag. Fuck @Gu and his bug/mildew infested farm in Ocala. He doesnt even pay his employees, he pays them in weedseed coin thats worth 30x less than the work they did.

I had unsubscribed from GPS also but I received that same message yesterday...shady stuff imo.

The fact that we've unsubscribed and still got it says something and it's not good.
I wouldn't post a thing and would just keep doing as I have been, ignoring anything GPS and moving on in life but he couldn't let it be.
So obviously he did something on his end to ignore unsubscribed former customers requests and that's why he gets put on blast here.
Mess with the bull you get the horns sort of thing. @Gu needs to respect the unsubscribed list or I'll smack his AI bullshit schtick around like a pinata in public after every email he sends out.

I'm super excited to be all set up at the new farm in Ocala, Florida. We are licensed to grow just seed here, but we'll certainly have our hands full. I've been at it since February, upgrading the greenhouse and setting up the pampered outdoor area. It's really a huge step in the right direction for me as I finally take Greenpoint out of the black market. The 2018 Farm Bill classifies seed as hemp, so here I am, with a license and a farm in Florida, back home from Colorado 10 years later with a licensed weed business. Just like I planned when I packed up my bedroom grow in 2013 and headed out west. October marks 10 years in business, and the next 10 are looking mighty promising.

As for personnel, I've hired and fired a lot of people. It's taken roughly 5 or 6 people cycling through a position to find the right person. Each person has helped the business grow and certainly has helped me grow. A lot of those people go off and start their own thing. I find a lot of satisfaction knowing that they gained enough knowledge and insight working with me that they are confident enough to try it themselves.

So what's next? I actually listened to the Phylos Bioscience CEO interview. Whatever you think about them, they just raised millions of dollars from people who are going to want their money back. And do you know what his plan was? Actually breeding lines and improving strains. Driscoll's is a berry producer in your local grocery store. They've been around for decades, but did you know what they are doing? Only in the last few years have they actually tried to breed better berries. Now they've released a new premium berry line called "Sweetest Batch," and customers love it.

I don't claim to be the most original person, but damn, I'm observant, and I take action. I understand you want better weed. Whatever that means, however many different variations of better there are, I'm going to find them. Liam Neeson style.
I’d be interested in a job position. I’m a little older, but have incredible passion and considered myself an friendly ambassador

Just heard Gu Gu is all done and packing it in down in Ocala.
Idk the truth behind it, or what it means for Greenpoint, but I saw this day coming 2 years ago.

March 31st is the new November 1st due to DHS funding. Everybody in a red state operating under the Farm Bill is shutting down by the end of this month. Raids have already started in Texas and I wouldn't be surprised if they're happening early in Florida too.

You guys finally came up with a better mess than our gun laws.

Back and forth with weeds legality is going to be a problem for a while I expect. I keep waiting for the topic to pop up here as well.

I think the poor market after all the hype and expense put into these new cannabis endeavours is going to pressure governments to roll stuff back or change it up. I’m sure politics and religion will jump on board but profit will decide what changes.

US Farm Bill policy is created by lobbyists with politicized enforcement. It's also an over correction and as with most modern era policy, swinging the legal pendulum back the other way to the far end.
Edibles remain legal so the alcohol industry can still make, sell, and profit from THC drinks. Bars can still sell THC drinks.
Smoke and vapes will be highly illegal and bring jail time keeping the private prison biz alive and well.
Enforcement happens in urban areas where it's usually high populations of liberal voters, people of color, poor, etc.
Nothing changes for cannabis legal states.
Interstate business will take a hit and carry huge risk so people like Gu are folding tents or if possible, just surrendering product in amnesty so the troopers don't come and ransack a business destroying everything inside, illegal or legal.

i don't keep up with it so i'm glad you know and tell us.

i'm not sure my state ever even had that farm bill.. we never had stores pop up and i don't think edibles have ever been allowed in my state. even on the medical side we can not get edibles here.

Basically since 2017 any state that hasn't had legal cannabis used the Farm Bill loophole for THC-A along with CBD and Delta 8.
The THC-A side was pretty much cannabis. I wasn't gonna say anything but using my handy dandy tester thingamajig, most hemp flower I tested was at around 15% and concentrates in the 70-85% range, well above the .3% legal limit.
Most states that had no path to legal cannabis took this road so states like Texas and North Carolina will be hit hardest and go back to a hard line prohibition that includes hemp.
I think Florida is legal but with heavy fees and taxation on cannabis so one way around all that was the Farm Bill and growing hemp and making THC-A from it.
Oklahoma may be the same. Each state has it's own nuance to it and really I'm only tuned into Texas and a few legal states I visit.
Texas changes year by year so the goal posts are always moving. 2026 is probably the most erratic and confusing though. It could all change again tomorrow. Lawsuits have been filed so we'll see. I hope for the best but plan for the worst.
