I might of just thought of an analogy.

Think of the molecular and atomic structure of water, if you align those molecules "correctly" into the right geometric molecular lattice structure, water "turns" into ice, or a snowflake....

We are trying to balance that molecular lattice structure, but with distillate/thc extracts, rosin/ live or cured, etc.

So that it doesn't turn solid or be to fluidious.
Viscosity.



I just learned about a fungi that can do that.

It can change water into ice even when the temperature isn't right for water to freeze?

Because it manipulates the atomic/nuclear molecular structure, it's a crystal lattice structure, at the molecular/atomic level, which is similar to Snowflakes and Ice/flowing water.

Just need a few chemicals and the extract, and proper ratios that balance the given atomic/molecular lattice structure to Balance.

So I correlated and connected the dots? In analogy/theory?.



Now it's just the how, the chenicals, the elements, the molecular ratios.

i'm listening man.....

so i tried exactly how i said i would. i put in the TEC and CBC and it gelled.. i then added a little alpha bis, i think maybe too much. it still slightly gelled but better.. so i added in more CBC. the gel stopped. it was still a little translucent and not clear but not bad and not a deal breaker.

the deal breaker was the tastes man,, i over did it on the alpha bis. that stuff is so sensitive.

i'm gonna try again with no alpha bis and more CBC, i put a drop of CBC in my puffco and it had almost no taste at all. i'm going to try maybe 10% or even up to 20% of CBC with just TEC and see what happens.

i don't have much of a plan B yet..

after i posted that last night i went ahead and put the seeds in the VG... figured the first day of spring and all..




yesterday i scored a barrel... same size as my top off only a little taller.. it holds maybe 36 gallons i think. it's a weird size i think it was made for dry goods because the size is listed in mass. not gallons. the inside is nice and clean. and it had the best price of all... free!!!!!

I can do things with that medium that's pretty much unheard of in others and it's super inexpensive...I put about $100 into my blend almost a year ago and still working off that. Like $100 setting me up for four or five grows, 9 plants each grow using 3 gallons of the mix per plant. Just gotta triple rinse it all first before using.

Rockwool is just very clean, well it has its dust and microparticles, but its a solid 1-unit, and i dont have to mix anything and make somewhat of a mess maybe.

Rw is a fun medium lots of control, but like you said, and I would prefer a 70/30 coco/perlite blend too, if im going that route, solos or half gallon.

A automatic fog tote in the corner would be cool.

Coco+perl/+salts is probably the cheapest/efficiency one can get, i think.

besides making youre own nutrients completely.

changed my tires on my atv today... i already had the tires from a while back and kept dragging my feet getting them mounted well turns out the bike shop wanted $40 per tire!!!!! fuck that!! so i bought a bead buster and changed them out by myself... the bead buster cost me $150 but now i can change out all the tires i want!!!!

little tool worked really awesome. atv beads are tough sob's and it slid em off like a prom dress!!!!

You won't find much love for gamblers from me man. Seen that shit ruin lives like alcohol but more so that group, other than teenage girls, is what keeps the tampon business alive and well. And that's been my response to those guys.
When ever those fucks are waiting after a game which we won and they're mad because we didn't cover a spread, I tell them the tampons are on aisle 8 and walk away. Usually it's campus bookies, parasites, but still. The entitlement of those people and the way they lose their shit after a bad bet is for sure a maxipad moment.

My car is feeling a little naked without that 5 body but it's about to get some pickle power!
I'll probably still get that guy on etsy to do a body for me but for now I'm gonna do my own version of the hot pickle car.
Will go with a green and black scheme instead of green and white and I also have some good looking flame decals on the way so yeah, pickles and fire on a green and black Ford Pony.
Man, I so wish we lived closer and could race. We'd probably even end up building a track and creating a league too. My track is okay but my dogs keep pooping on it and causing caution flags for debris on the track.

My wife's 19 car will stay stock...she still can't go full throttle yet so she's stuck at 75% on a 2s...freaking girls man....but I'm dropping the brushless motor kit into mine and also ordered up the dirt and wet weather tires for us.

ditto from this family!! we have gambling all around us here.. it's such a waste. alantic city isn't far from me and there's a big casino right at the edge of the next town like ten minutes from my house... i've never stepped foot in there!!! never will!! i ignore it so much that i honestly don't even know the name of it. i'll never go to a show or a restaurant there and they can suck it!!!

at one time that building was the Bethlehem Steel Co.. made a lot of important steel for our country back in the day. the casino bought it out and shut em down.. it was only supposed to be slot machines but they cheated with a loophole and now it's a full blown casino littered with hookers on craigslist..

and the absolute worst part is people around here think it's cool. not me.

it was awesome to have three checkins this past weekend!!! i freakin left some oints on the track though man, i missed thursday trivia!!!! shit!! i did get 20 for the powerball though so in my head i'm like well i only gave up 3 points.. hahaha no, i gave up 13 points!!! sumbitch!! haha

Casinos weird me out man. They smell like tanning oil and cigarette smoke and usually super cold. Hideous carpet too. I have a weird thing in me where I believe every card dealer moonlights as a creepy mortician and is related to that guy from the Phantasm movies.
I've been to Vegas like 5 times, 2-3 days each time and I've only gambled away $10.
That was just because I had sent my wife to stripper class for 2 hours and I had nothing to do but wander around.
Decided to sit at a slot and see how long it would take before I was offered a free drink by a hostess. $10 in the slot, few minutes later I was asked if I wanted a drink, said yes and got it then left. Tipped her $5 anyways just for the experience and even though it was just coke. That was my big gamble in Vegas.
The places I go in that town, you'd never know gambling was legal. You pretty much have to walk thru casinos to get to everything but other than that I avoid them just because of how they smell.

The little track I used to go to as a kid had lots of squirrels living in the stacks of tires so it got pretty interesting sometimes early on but by the time the mains were happening ,they either stayed in those tires or had run for the tree line a few hundred yards away.

we have slot machines in gas stations around here. i've never played one. theres some loophole that says if they don't pay out they can have them. they must all cheat though because no way people are sitting there for hours on end to play a video game!!

i hate loopholes.. just a way to say i know what i'm doing is wrong.

we also have horse racing places here too. no actual tracks or horses but places that show it on tv everyday. it's called the pocono downs, i haven't gone there since my 20's but they had some great food back then.

i almost messed up all mu concentrates with the old one.. something went bonkers and it went into heating mode!!! i opened it up a couple days ago and it was hot inside!! another $100....

on the flip side and all the good news we have 12 heads up!!!!!!! going in soil tomorrow..



and in other good news i bought a two site fallponics setup!!!! i'm still going to use a large tote as the rez so for now i'll just have an extra bucket and lid but have the option of making a three site setup down the road.

Nice, love the method. I use chopsticks but don’t push the root down as nicely. I’ll have to try it this spring. Slick.

I think we have those same "game rooms". Janky and sketchy AF casinos about the size of a small home. They pop up on the news for things like stabbings, dog fights, prostitution, and drugs. We also have "massage parlors" that are Chinese brothels. One is at the end of my street since I kinda live at the far end of Happy Ending Mile, a long chain of them in one area for some reason.
There's also that same kind of horse racing track but no racing, just TVs and betting. Seems super boring to me but really, all gaming is boring to me but whatever. Just happy me or my wife isn't into because damn that shit takes over a life.

you're absolutely correct, i used to use chopsticks!!! i got these sticks here for tying down the mainline manifolds. they happen to be the cheapest ones i could get, like two bucks if i remember correctly.. i got a whole bag, next goodie box to ya will have some for ya!!

i like to keep them above 1cm if the soil needs watering in after. if the soil is extra moist then i set them in pretty deep, leaves kissing the soil.

when i water them in sometimes a small landslide of mud washes over them and can bury them. if i keep them up about a centimeter they stay above the mud!!

temps are a little cooler than i'd like so i'm considering turning the lights up another 10%.. we've been doing great with our electric bills the past few months so i got a little wiggle room for power. never thought i'd ever say that!!

I almost got the 5. It was in my cart but yep I took the rainbow. Just a classic look that I think escapes the culture war bullshit over flags and just screams vintage hot-rod.
I even got a special case for it way back when I ordered it so it had a garage waiting...

shit is just so expensive man, fallponics was prolly the cheapest of the options. and yes, fallponics is basically what i have now. when the rdwc pumps from the rez to the plant sites and waterfalls in, it is a fallponics. where as current culture recirculates by pumping from the plant sites back to the rez. honestly bro i really think it's just a made up word so it didn't look as offensive selling a fallponics versus a hydroponic name in an illegal state. i never looked to see if it was trademarked or copywrited.

their buckets are better but i don't have a drain capable of my system volume downstairs so that feature isn't as attractive to me. to completely drin mine i use a shop vac. current culture rev2 buckets don't require a shop vac they have a false bottom sump to drain from.

i got the current culture bulkhead seals though. my other option is uniseals like i have now. but i saved $10 on the special wrench cus somebody on thingiverse shared the file and i printed one out in tampon whine!!! hahaha

i could have saved a hundred bucks by only buying exactly what i needed, but i decided i would like to have backup pumps and stuff if anything goes down on me in a pinch.

My side of the home office is looking good and that piece just ads a little extra I'm not sure another car can do. I tried to use the Larson IRL car but it's an odd fit. American stock car and muscle car theme works for what I've come up with.
Larson is repped very well though. I tried to capture his duality with a beat to shit Darlington wall ride car and a pristine elite papaya car. Yin and yang you know!

I'd put it like this....I think guys like DJ will be set the best. I believe he buys seeds bred, born, and sold inside the state and the state is cannabis legal where you can buy and grow all weed stuffs in that state.
California, Colorado, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Hawaii, and maybe a few others are in this category.
Seed banks operating inside those states will be able to stay open but likely only sell to customers inside the state. Much like needing to be a resident of Colorado if I wanted to go up there and buy clones.

The way this law is written states that a company like Growers Choice operating out of California, will not be allowed to sell or ship seeds to other states. There is no lawsuit or injunction in place to stop this. As of now, it will happen November 1st, nation wide.
Some are shutting down now and some will continue as-is but it will be illegal. How it's enforced and prosecuted is a whole other animal.
Irie may be dropping off and I'm not sure to the extent but I've read things about Bodhi getting out too. That was the blaring red alarm for me which got me making plans for after November.

I believe this will cause two side effects. Lots of people will lose jobs with the seed bank businesses being crippled and it will open the door for the "breeder direct" grift to flourish more than ever and cause a seismic change in cannabis.
What you like about cannabis will play a huge part in the new era IMO. If you're into the new trends of cannabis and buying seeds thru social media everything will probably be the same but lots more shitty stuff to sort thru. More hermies, Charlie Brown Xmas tree structures, small black plants, etc. That stuff will flourish in a new black market. Pretty much already is and why some may not notice any change in anything but the old school stuff will become harder and harder to find in seed or flower.

So that's where I'm at. I'm not into any of the new weed stuff. I like what I fell in love with in the 80s and 90s and hybrids from 2005-2015 era.
Narrowed down, really only about 12 strains worthy of being keepers. I'm not sure if that will be around after November and if it is, hard to get and comes with new risk so I'm getting those genetics today even though I may not grow them until a year from now.
You knew me from my days of getting seed orders picked off by customs man. You know of my work with NORML. This is one of those pick your battles to win the war things for me so I'll retreat from this one. They aint fuckin' around is how I see it so I'm doing what I shoulda done a long time ago and go hermit kingdom on all this shit by producing everything from seeds to concentrates behind the line of prohibition before that line is drawn again.
I hated that feeling when I saw green tape on a seed order. Now that tape might come with a fucking agent with a warrant attached and that's one FAFO I'm not about to test.
I expect to be cut off from the weed world but am preparing for it so I don't put me or anybody else at risk after November. I do think it's just a legal phase and laws will change again later. This thing swings like a pendulum.


There's been a couple large UC systems for sale at the hydroshop in the used gear for a very long time. They're the original design and even used and old it's still very expensive so yeah I know all about that cost lol.
I believe it's a good buy though because of what you get in the plastic. Food grade, no BPA, no chemical reactions...all of that peace of mind is what comes in that cost.
I haven't seen a grow using non-food grade storage totes yet that hasn't had some sort of weird toxicity issue.

DIY is cheap and all that. Maybe even clever at times but if the plastic aint suitable for agriculture then all that savings by DIYing is wasted trying to fix shit.
I could do the same here. Get any old plastic tray for my flood bed and have issues from drainage to plastic toxins but using ag grade plastics made for this shit, zero issues on that front. The way I see it...$80 worth of good plastic tray saves me from $80 of issues every grow.

Seed banks operating inside those states will be able to stay open but likely only sell to customers inside the state. Much like needing to be a resident of Colorado if I wanted to go up there and buy clones.

The way this law is written states that a company like Growers Choice operating out of California, will not be allowed to sell or ship seeds to other states. There is no lawsuit or injunction in place to stop this. As of now, it will happen November 1st, nation wide.
Some are shutting down now and some will continue as-is but it will be illegal. How it's enforced and prosecuted is a whole other animal.
Irie may be dropping off and I'm not sure to the extent but I've read things about Bodhi getting out too. That was the blaring red alarm for me which got me making plans for after November.

I believe this will cause two side effects. Lots of people will lose jobs with the seed bank businesses being crippled and it will open the door for the "breeder direct" grift to flourish more than ever and cause a seismic change in cannabis.
What you like about cannabis will play a huge part in the new era IMO. If you're into the new trends of cannabis and buying seeds thru social media everything will probably be the same but lots more shitty stuff to sort thru. More hermies, Charlie Brown Xmas tree structures, small black plants, etc. That stuff will flourish in a new black market. Pretty much already is and why some may not notice any change in anything but the old school stuff will become harder and harder to find in seed or flower.

and like you'v said before man there is so many things in this farm bill that it affects so many different things. and it's been extended so to me that says major changes are coming to it all the way around and not just picking on the thc stuff.

So that's where I'm at. I'm not into any of the new weed stuff. I like what I fell in love with in the 80s and 90s and hybrids from 2005-2015 era.
Narrowed down, really only about 12 strains worthy of being keepers. I'm not sure if that will be around after November and if it is, hard to get and comes with new risk so I'm getting those genetics today even though I may not grow them until a year from now.

I hated that feeling when I saw green tape on a seed order. Now that tape might come with a fucking agent with a warrant attached and that's one FAFO I'm not about to test.

There's been a couple large UC systems for sale at the hydroshop in the used gear for a very long time. They're the original design and even used and old it's still very expensive so yeah I know all about that cost lol.
I believe it's a good buy though because of what you get in the plastic. Food grade, no BPA, no chemical reactions...all of that peace of mind is what comes in that cost.
I haven't seen a grow using non-food grade storage totes yet that hasn't had some sort of weird toxicity issue.

DIY is cheap and all that. Maybe even clever at times but if the plastic aint suitable for agriculture then all that savings by DIYing is wasted trying to fix shit.
I could do the same here. Get any old plastic tray for my flood bed and have issues from drainage to plastic toxins but using ag grade plastics made for this shit, zero issues on that front. The way I see it...$80 worth of good plastic tray saves me from $80 of issues every grow.

i am going to keep using some of my stuff. i will keep my water feed in place, that includes the recirc pump and plumbing. i used the same tubing as in the kit and the same brand and kind fittings as in the kit. except for the bulkheads. i used uniseals for both feed and recirc so i will use the supplied fittings for all the buckets and my rez. i will continue to use the same kind of rez, lots of people use that brand for hydro so i'm not worried on weird material at all. but it will be a brand new one, i will just reuse my lid with all my brackets and lid n stuff.

but there is a list of questionable stuff that i won't be using this time that i am currently using.. maybe i have a cocktail of bad stuff who knows.. some are said to be safe but maybe not all together.. who knows but this is my very last hurrah swing at it man!!!!

I'd say that thing when it was rolled out was good to great in many ways. But it's like the Beverley Hillibillies when they move to Hollywood and they pack all that shit on their car, that's what politicians do with special interest and pork spending so there's shit in there that has nothing to do with farming.
The hemp part was one spoke in the wheel. It was a great thing making money, creating jobs, and generating lots of tax dollars. But it wasn't the right people making money and getting those jobs if that makes sense without diving too deep into what motivates politicians.

That pic is my grandpa's tub from WWII and yep, got him thru the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Pacific campaign. One of the first to return fire and set sail to go kill subs in the harbor.
That boat kept my grandpa alive and is part of how I came to be here. My mom had a model which my sisters kids destroyed when they were little so the best I could do was hunt down a framed portrait.

You can imagine, I have a long list of WWII and Pacific campaign stuff on watchlist so if ya ever want any recs lol. The Pacific on HBOMax is a great one, right there with Band of Brothers IMO.

That whole display is what's in the background for wife's zoom meeting at work. People thought it was some sort of weird aquarium and my wife said yeah, an aquarium for race cars my husband made. Now a couple are into racing and always ask her about. 1 guy took his family to cota too.
I finally hit with that case for the Gordon but I have two more cases that kinda failed me. Been hard to get it just right and yeah next is to work on more lighting overhead.

Here's the kit I got for the Losi that will take it to 34-37mph on a 2s and around 47-50 with 3s but I hear it's damn near undrivable on 3s and it has more than enough with 2s. I also picked up a pair of 2200mah batteries but they're soft case



But yeah you're right, next upgrade is suspension and I think I wanna drop in all the aluminum upgrades.

It's good and all but nothing beats the cherry! I tried grape and blackberry lemonade and couldn't wait to empty them so I could go back to cherry!

That does seem like a lot of stuff that could react and cause issues in your grows. Regular PVC is fine but I think CPVC is a problem. Uniseals should be fine and safe for fish too. The others though like Flex seal would sketch me out.
Some of these nutes have some corrosive ingredients...same stuff we use in industrial laundry detergent many times and the acid as well...that stuff can degrade some plastics and you'll see it sometimes.
I have some nute water stains on my antifatigue flooring and it's kinda eaten at almost like being hit with a brillo pad or sandpaper.
Any kind of metal other than stainless steel or titanium can be toxic as well. One old school remedy was to drop a small nail or thumbtack in a rez to be an iron supplement making up for the magnet in pumps pulling iron from the water but we're decades beyond shit like that. Pumps still do that but we have better iron and calmag all in one fixes today. Aluminum, galvanized metals, and copper are pretty much plant poisons.

Looking forward to seeing you run that thing! You still doing the scrog because systems like that were made to grow monsters?!

i'd like to remove all the wiggle and also replace anything causing any binding in the drivetrain. i've read about some of them having some drag and the only way you can really feel that is with your fingers when its apart.

i'm going to just slice the recirc pipe in half and remove it all in two complete pieces. if i don't have any problems at all with the new setup i'll take a peak at it and see if i can figure out what it was. and if the new setup still gives me issues then???? i really don't know man. i honestly don't even wanna feel that dejection so i won't even go there!!!!!!

hmmm.. maybe on my list of things to change should be the screws in my rez lid. they're steel, maybe i should switch to plastic. they're only there to hold my brackets from sliding around. maybe just a little dab of hot glue on the outside.

yeah i still wanna keep the scrog for sure. i'm sill high from the newness of doing that and it solves one of my oldest problems, headroom!! with a scrog my lights will never be maxed out on height!!

i've already drilled all the holes in the buckets and lids, now i just need to line it up and double check the height on the rez and put that hole in. and i'll need to cut and glue the second piece of recirc pipe.

i'll have it ready to point that it will be plug and play once i take the old system out. just starting week five of flowering in there, so i got a while!! ha!
