I'm still having problems with our emails so no notifications are going out.. i'm still messing with it but trying to not screw anything up along the way.

so yesterday morning we upgraded to a newer version of the site. we were two in the hole and this first one was less invasive so i upgraded to the first one early yesterday morning. everything went well and no problems or hink ups at all.. the next upgrade will require a little more, we have two possible three add ons that must be installed just after the upgrade, so a couple things like particularly the search and shoutbox will probably be down an extra hour or so till i get those two complete. maybe the image resizer too.. either way i successfully did my first site upgrade by myself and the site didn't crash!! hahahaha shhhh!!! hahaha

yes sir, two site fallponics.. minis with a bigger rez..



went with current culture 3" bulkheads..



smaller netcups...



and the same rez tote so i can still use my current lid and wood cradle to keep the tote from bowing..



i'm excited to get it in place!!!!!!

i have the highest hopes... i still have another two or four weeks left on the crop now. they're okay.. i'll make a post on that thread and update them. they're still burning and i just think its the way its gonna be. starting to stink in all the right ways though so the leaves can do whatever they want as far as i'm concerned.. as long as the buds keep growing!!

my flock was getting thin due to a shitty fox... trying to blend the four new ones with my older three hens in their house.. they're not real happy about it.. they'll get over it!!!

I think my neighbors quit keeping chickens because of the local fox clan. Funny animal around here...like dog software but cat hardware so they easily go up and over 6' fencing and can climb tree and poles like cats.
One passes my window almost everyday but knows to stay out of our yard because of the dogs.
Feral cats are becoming another problem lately so we've stepped up the hazing on that shit to keep them away from here. Don't want 'em bringing fleas or disease to our cats and dogs. I think a pair of boarded up homes with overgrown properties behind our property and down the hill a hundred yards or so is where they're all coming from. Probably foxes and cats all living together like a wild commune in there and they're multiplying now.

Picking thru some early 4/20 sales and found a new carb cap and sapphire pearls for the 3dXl chamber from Drip Glass. Moving away from the joystick thing and going for a hands free spinner

Stoney can probably explain a ton more but for me, each rig has a sort of nuance to it and may or may not be ideal out of the box.
For that piece there, it's for the Peak Pro 3dXL chamber which is much deeper than the chamber that comes with a Peak.

The deeper the chamber I feel the more swirl or tornado style air flow into the chamber is needed. The more shallow it is, just a common carb cap to restrict air flow is all that's needed for me.

To get a tornado effect I need a spinner carb cap and that there is one type of them with two angled holes opposite each other will create that tornado inside the chamber.
When you add a terp pearl in there to the chamber and dab, you basically have a little gemstone marble in there swirling around in the tornado creating more surface area to put heat to your wax and stirring up your dab at the same time. Similar to using a poker to stir up a bowl of flower midway thru for a total and complete burn.

I want to invest in something decent that doesn't break the bank eventually. Right now i have a a little bucket(??) and a carb cap to restrict air flow. I'm not crazy about it, but never was able to try the whole gamut so not sure what i would like. Usually i just do a small dab here and there in it. My main go to is straight flower

I don't consider quartz or less and only look for glass on glass or ceramic because I feel with the others, I'd spend just as much replacing them all the time than I did getting something more durable and reliable.

In regards to erigs and if I could have only one, it would be Ispire Daab. This is the rig that I feel is best for flower rosin and really, any homemade extract I can throw at it and it will clean up like new. It's worth every bit of the $250 msrp IMO but can be had for around $210 shopping around.
I also have the Bomb erig and Puffco Peak Pro and those two are comparable with Bomb being less than half the price of Puffco. I feel those are best for people buying refined and far less sticky waxes and not smoking sticky globs like home flower squish.
When it does come to Puffco I use the glass pass app to save a lot on the devices and then deal direct with head shops or artists for better deals on glass or attachments and chambers.

I have a Rok that's quartz and it sucks so bad compared to what's out there now. Luckily I have a hazmat depot nearby where I can get rid of batteries but it's one that's been sitting for years just to keep it out of the garbage. I picked it up again about 6 months ago and it was so bad I didn't even want to sell it. I feel bad for anybody buying one of those new in box.
Erigs have always been my choice and it's been a journey. I won't use a torch because I know I'd start a fire or hurt myself or a pet. Fire and me don't mix too well

it's so nice to work with all brand new parts this time.. i have everything mocked up now and just waiting on the crop to finish. the leaves don't look as nice but the buds are nicer this time than last. getting the bottleneck size buds this time versus a thumb size.. i gotta pot an update on it. not really much to show though, they not even thinking about maturing yet. i think i may have four weeks or more left. i know the soil ones took a while. really can't wait to compare though.. one soil one hydro both clones!!!

its a constant revolving door with my chickens. i could keep them penned up and safe but they're bored and not happy. so i choose to take the bad with the good and let them out.

there are constant predators here of all shapes and sizes. about the only thing around here lower on the food chain are bugs and worms.

so i make the choice to let them out and just buy new chickens every few years.

but i gotta say right now, they ain't bored one bit in the run right now. i have the old birds and the new birds separated with a makeshift screen door right now.. when they interact there is a bunch of bullying, so i'm playing chicken referee right now. it's like a part tie job.. hahaha

that looks really cool man, i like the engraving on the edges!!! i've always like the terp pearl option. only downside i have with it is personal because if the way i sometimes clean mine.. i don't always swab after each rip, especially if its a small dab. so after a few of those i sometimes use three squares of TP rolled up like one big swab. when i do that sometimes the terp perl comes with it and i drop it on the floor... thats it though, my one and only gripe!! it's a tiny one!! hahaha

swabs don't have nuthin on TP!! haha ya like my new bong sticker?? hehehe Steam sent me a pack of new stickers and that mini me one was on the wrapper so i was like score!!!

when you use your blowies, do you use a stopwatch? that was a game changer for me when i used buckets and stuff.. i even had a stopwatch right on the torch because i don't wear a watch at all.

if i remember correctly it was 45 seconds of hard flame then a 25 second pause, then the dab... perfect and consistent every single time.

i'm gonna check out the entry lists for this weekend... i gotta see whos runnin in what race. or maybe just leave it a surprise for the green flag!!

i think it was more the pause period that the biggest difference. it was enough time to let the heat in the glass to even out first so there were no hot spots.

even did the timer thing with a nectar collector.. i was pretty big into those for a couple years..
