Kuwl - Cinderella C99

Well, finally got a response from Spider Farmer for my $120 2 yr old broken 6" exhaust fan.
It was a week over the 2 yr guarantee so they gave my a discount code and suggested
my fans parts wore out cause it's old and I should just buy a new fan.
That's $60 a year plus electic for one fan, that's crazy and they want me to double down and buy another!
The code they gave me saves me $8.80 on a $109.00 fan wow and in 2 years I'll need another. lol

SF can stick it! I've lost all faith in their products and will go with MarsHydro or Vivosun if I need snything.

My Vivosun 6" fan is still running after bout 3 years, a lil bit more noisy but I can deal with that.
Not as fancy but I don't think the SF temp/humi controller ever worked like it should.
I have a govee temp. humi in the room which I read from my iphone anyway.

Kitten used the kitty litter last night so that's cool.
Wife is against keeping it but we can't catch it either soooo.
It's getting braver, seen it a couple of times and think it's up here now, behind the couch.
Sky is curiously poking her head looking behind the couch wagging her tail.
That's good! Day by day we'll see what happens.

I am getting real excited about that outside plant, it's doing real well.
I will be growing auto's out there next season, for sure.
We moved the green house to a better location near the house to keep a close eye on it.
I feel much better about that since it's not near any human trafic and the smell will disapate better.
Hardly any maintenence just feed every 3-4 days. That's it. No fussing with anything.
Cellar plant has been easy peasy too.
When I grow next time it will be one strain. I think it's much better that way.
OK I think I got everything off my mind haha good talk.
Nothing wrong with just growing one strain. I did it for a few years. I learned a lot that way. Made feeding and correcting deficiencies a little easier.

That's all I use SF tents & lights, fans were too expensive. I just buy the cheap stuff off amzon warehouse deals. I did buy a Mars 6" osculating tent pole fan on some sale I'm not using yet but I seems to work well and I like SF lights, sure they paid for all of my stuff except the far reds I bought them but it all still works well
So far my side lights and reds are working fine and didn't cost too much.
I look at sf lights occasionally just incase my FC4800 fails but they cost too much and I always see a better deal from MarsHydro.
I've had 2 expensive ($50ea) small occillating fans go bad on me after only one season.
One from Gro Buds the other from Vivosun.
I got cheap no name fans from Goodwill that last longer. But that 6" sf exhaust fan that broke really took the cake for me.
It was a nice fan and worked great until it didn't haha I really like that fan and I guess that's why it pissed me off so much.
I'll use my 6" Vivosun until it breaks and I think I have another one packed up some where in the shed.

I have without fudging the numbers at least 15-20 fans and parts of fans. We were going to value village a lot and I couldn't pass up a good $5 fan - my 30% seniors discount and they always have fans.

What I kept looking for were the small tent pole osculating. lots of 6" clip on's but few osculating. In my 5x5 in flower I like to have 2 sm 6" above my lights, 2 at canopy osculating and 1 - 2 osculating below the canopy depending on season + intake and exhaust.

I finely got a 6" osculating pole fan from Mars I haven't used yet but seems to work well and silent.

I find the fans that run 100% of the time last a long time but those I turn on and off with timers fk up faster, start to stick and make worn bearing noises.

I haven't met an oscillating 6" fan yet that can last more than a few grows. The ACI Gen 2's that I got I haven't had a chance to really run through an entire run so I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform although I'm still seriously thinking of chucking all the small fans and do the box fan near the ceiling idea I had.

I think @Pipecarver has used their seeds. 🤔
Ya you bet, seemed like a good guy and all of the seeds and freebies he sent grew well. I think my favorite plants of all so far have been QC Blue from QCS & a recent Bubba mac & Cheese from Captain Redbeards, via Granny

Lots of bud sites on this plant.
It's doing well for 2.5 wks in flower.
IMG_5895.JPG
I have not much need for clip fans now that I have this room to grow in.
I set up a bar to clip one or two on if needed and have one there that turns on when the reds go on.
The other stand up 8" fan sits on a crate and is not occilating at the moment.
I like the larger stand up occilating fans the best.
But have one big oc fan that mounts on a wall.
That fan is my fav but won't need it till the plant get more buds and thicker.
It's got a lot of functions like natural wind and burst wind and it's a powerful fan too.
Then I'll switch on that one and turn off the others.
IMG_5896.JPGIMG_5897.JPGIMG_5898.JPGIMG_5899.JPG
Trying to keep electrcal cost down to a minimum.
I got the exhaust fan set as slow as it will go, 1 6" stand up fan, 1 smal 4" clip fan,
an oil heater set low (76-80 degrees) and the lights, 2 reds and the TS1000 (140w).
I might have to turn on the de-humidifier if the humi goes up again.
Last week it got up to 70%, thats when I noticed some white spots on the leaves.
I didn't do nothing about it cause the humi dropped to 50% where it is now.

Yes that open space is a better way to grow. I went from open space with hps to led and tents. I can contain the heat better but with hps I didn't need to add heat my 1000w lamp did both jobs with light and heat.

I used panda plastic 5x5' panels I hinged in the corners so I had 4 -5'x5' - panels in a diamond shape with stand up fans in the open corners. Then Spiderfarmer offered me free lights and here I am, paying for heat in tents. I'll need to add soon its only 75f in there now with lights on.

Well when it rains it pours haha
After a really easy grow, both outside and inside,
I took a closer look and seen some mildew on the leaves.
Forgot what to use, then while looking, I seen some pic's of stuff on leaves that said thrips or some bug like that
and spider mites, Yiiiiiiips I took a closer look before I sprayed with Apple Cider Vineger (2tbs per qt.) for mildew.
Got the loup out cause I'm practacly blind and whoaaa thripes and SM's not many tho,
I only seen a couple of smites and one thrip or I think it was.
Doesn't matter, it's bugs!!!!
I used Bonide Captain Jacks insecticidal soap I had on hand will have to order more of it tho.
There was another that was suggested Monterey, maybe I'll try it next. Not neem oil, I won't use that.

As far as the Athena nutrient I'm using, it's great with no problems at all.
I got it at 1500 ppm now and it's drinking good.
I add 2 gal's a week maybe less than a week, I don't keep track lol.
The outside plant is on track but maybe a week behind the cellar room plant.
I give it the remaining nutrients from Dyna Grow and it's doing well.
I did see a lil mag problem on some lower leaves so added a tbls of ES to the last feed.
I mix 4 gals of nutes at a time then feed it 2 gals then another 2 the next day or two.
I'm out of Dyna Bloom so will be using another for than part of the mix.

Sightings of Ghost are mostly at night or if it gets hungry it will creep out.
It hides behind the wrap around couch where my other cats dodge the dog.
Slow going but I keep talking to it and showing freindlyness to my cats in front of it
so it sees there is no threat, I hope.

2 pic's of Cinderella C99 about 4 weeks into flower
After I defoiliated it and sprayed it good.

Hey I thought I would post an update on Ghost.
See him every night but daytime he stays in the cellar and hides when we go down there,
Moved his feeding dish to the top stair doing what I can to humanize him.
Snapped a daytime pic this morning before I fed him.
This one is last night the next two are this morning. He really likes Shady and follows him everywhere at night.

5 Weeks in Flower
Everythings going great!
No problems with this grow.
It's Athena nutrients 32ml Bloom and 19ml Grow and nothing else.
All the way through the grow! No adjustments for this or that, excellent!!
Water in rez tank is clear and filter is too.

I have a $10 wavemaker mixer in there that works great and set for 15m every 4-6 hrs.
51O-6MAgmuL._AC_SX679_.jpg

I have added an extra 20ml of Bloom in the final 2 gal. mix to bring up the PPM to 1480
and that's about as high as I'm going as I see a micro burn at the leaf tips you can barely see with the naked eye.
Temp is 81 and RH is 60% high today but usually about 55%.

UV lights are ON from 12 noon to 2pm, 2 hrs per day till harvest.

The worst issue is prob humi and the mold spots that get on leaves.

Not sure why I brought the FADE but have a gal of it so guess I'll use it when called for.

Still hot here in the low 80's
Green House is working out good and I take her outside of it once in a while.
I'm thinking 2.9g AP Auto plant grow next summer.
4 lil auto's in there will hardly be noticed.
Also I'm thinking of a 4 n 4 grow in the cellar next winter.
4 of each strain, one in the 2.4g's and one strain in the 3.9g pots.
With one strain in each there should be no problems or if there is one, it should be a breeze to fix.

Outside plant is doing great but behind the cellar plant in bud growth.
Looking forward to the cooler weather coming which should kickstart those cola's.
Otherwise it's so easy a cave man could do it! haha

Ghost is getting used to me but still so shy.
I get close but no touching haha
It will let me get much closer, one cellar step away but that's it.
It eats alot too.
I put kibble down in a seperate dish but it loves the canned pate,
Comes out to play at night with Panda and Shady when Sky is gone to bed with wifey.

Here's some pic's and a mov.
That plants moves like a macarana song.
I think it's the long staulk that gives it the motion like an ocean.

I have this set up again that directs the hot air from the de-humi motor to the exhaust duct.

Outside Plant Fruity Pebbles 2.0 in a 10 gal. cloth pot that's really heavy when wet.
IMG_5969.JPGIMG_5970.JPGIMG_5972.JPG

Had thrips on inside have not seen any since I sprayed but did not notice the sm on the outside plant, thx
Sprayed them both just incase.
But checked the cellar plant and could not see any with the loup.
Sprayed anyway.
Used this stuff cause I brought it on sale at Walmart Garden clearence for $7 org price was $18

Ghost was hungry and it got right up to me but would not let me touch.

You have my wife concerned about your Ghost, a pretty little thing, we're partial to black cats. Its eyes say its close to trusting you, I think it wants to but nervous, a play toy or wand might encourage it to interact. The slow drag of a small rope with a feather on the end is almost impossible for them to resist. Once they interact with you they get friendlier.

Shit I hate the idea of spraying plants for bugs this late in the game. I didn't see thrips but what looked like ph drift marks on your leaves but its almost done, fk it but now that you've spayed them you may have to bud wash to get that stuff off your buds. Same as any with mites or your weed will go snap crackle pop when smoking their cascaras.....Just adds to smoked protein intake...lol

I looked this morning and seen a few white dots on the underside of the leaf not sure what it was.
I believe the white on the top side of the leaf is mostly mold. Humi been high lately but my de-humi has been taking care of it.
RH=55 but before I turned it on I seen many white blobs on the leaves. Sprayed with vinegar solution and it seemed to work.
I haven't seen any bugs since I sprayed with the bug spray (Capt Jacks).
I am pretty sure I killed all the bugs. Has to be the Coco Coir, I should have pretreated it with something I guess.
Did not see many but for sure spider mites was there, The other bug I seen was longer and a yellowish color and
maybe 4 times a big and the sm's and only seen one of them. No fliers tho.
A lil snap, crackel an pop when I smoke won't bother me none, might be entertaining tho. hahaha

Ghost :devilish: eats alot and licks it's lips when hungery. It looks at me and only comes closer when I got food to give it.
Good idea with the toy! I'll try tonight or when I see it this morning when I feed. It got within an inch of me yesterday,
the closest it's been, so it's getting to trust me more but would not let me touch. While it was eating I slowly got my
hand closer but right before I could pet it shyed away and backed off. That's when I backed off too.
If I had more time to interact I think I could tame it faster.
I'm old and retired but still have to work 6-8 hrs a day around here.
Rain here for a few days so should have more time for Ghost training.
Seems food is it's weakness lol.

I amost forgot the excitment last night!
I went down cause my humi app says 72%
Went into the dark room and what the fuk the TS1000 light was glowing and not completly off.
So not too dark in there!!! I shit myself and had to stop my panick to figure out wtf was wrong.
I have another TS1000 sitting there so had to make the move to switch lights.
I turned on the green light bulb I just put in there earlier, almost like I had a premenition of this happening.
Fumbling around I managed to change the light and hoped it would turn on in the morning.
I was not sure if It was set or not but didn't want to mess with a small screw driver and fidel around with it.
These are old and you have to use a screwdriver to find the screw to adjust the light. No Way.
So left it and hoped it would be ok in the morning.
Turned my attention to the De-Humi, it was off Yippeees! Why???o_O
After looking at it I found the plug was pulled out, I guess I did that earlier somehow or it was the poltergiest again.
Turned off my green light and lite one up and popped open a beer whew!!!! What a night!:ninja:

Checked again to see what's up with this
Found no bugs but alot of moldy leaves.
Looked with a loup and a microscope nothing except white blobs.

After thoroughly examining a leaf found one bug and looks like a dead spider mite to me.

Check this out Momma Pipe
After many tries I got Panda to lure Ghost up the stairs to its food and by petting Panda eventually got to pet Ghost WOW
Was I excited 💖 so I petted it good to put my stink on it, then backed off to let it eat.

Only one problem……………. My wife told me
Last night Sky chased another kitten an it ran up the tree half way and guess what………..
It’s another black kitty OMG what am I to do???? Idk but what can ya do, it’s aweful

(Sky is curious about Ghost but would not hurt it, she/he’s part of the pack now.)

I agree on the thrips on the indoor G$ saw.
Spiniosad is a really good product and natural.
It is a bacteria not chemical.
Be careful with that sevin.

The cat distribution system has you targeted, maybe an exbuddy of Ghost from the wild, its getting colder, little ones will need a warm place to spend the winter and there seems to be an ole softy willing to give them shelter.

Well Dam here's a puzzle for ya.
I checked the room last night after lights out to see if my fix did the trick.
Covered any light sources from all my gagets, there was a couple, a display from the SF 4" fan
and the lights on the plug extention. Then there is the main light a TS1000
and guess what......... the fkn thing was glowing again!
Maybe it's the Red's charging the light? Maybe it's the digital timer? Maybe both lights are at the end
of their cycle and that's what they do, but both lights????
I changed the timer and put it on the same timer as the Reds 12/12 and it's a mechanical timer.
I got 2-3 timers I got with stuff I brought that I can't figure out so guess that's what I'll do today lol.
I'm running out of timers I can use, only got 1 mech timer left and it's schetchy.

Checked the outside plant for Spider Mites and found one on a leaf I brought in to look at.
Bad News the fkr is alive and moving, dam it, Guess the Sevin is not working good after 2 days
and 2 doses so I'll use the Capt Jacks and give it a good soak today.
IMG_5994.JPG
I actually picked up Ghost this morning when he was eating.
He did not like it too much and bolted away from me haha but that's progress.

IMG_5990.JPG
I have a shelter already made for them cats with hay and cover from the elements.
Best I can do for them. Hoping Ghost is a female cause if not He will be spraying before long.

I have a soft spot for black cats, if another came my way I wouldn't say no. my wife on the other hand is a firm no more cats. But a stray we'd have to look after, she'd melt too.....cats eh.

I get my Ebike today, I have to drive into town to get it but I'll soon be zooming the trails....and of course its Black1727185130973.png

Remember, you don’t bounce well anymore. Padding and caution for the first while at least. 🤣

Try not to rush it. He’ll come to you in time. Play will make it faster still. If you can’t resist try just holding the food dish and nothing more until it’s finished. Most animals don’t like being touched while eating until used to it.

Oh, and unlike dogs cats don’t like their water and food together. Learned that a few years ago.

Nice fur fam👍

He/she is an anomaly cause it likes being peted but only while it's eating.
Won't play, I used a feathered cat toy and both my cats played with it while Ghost just watched.
Would only look like he's interested but not enough to play, even though my cats were at it right in front of him.
I picked him up and he was ok with it for a moment then panicked and said no way and bolted out of my hands.
Food is his kryptonite, and time is on my side. I think we will be friends in a week or two.

Ya thanks for the warning about sevin, I looked into it and not to good.
What alerted me was the instructions on washing after use, I believe it said to wash for 20 mins if it gets on your skin.
Anyway it did not work to good and I ended up re-spraying with Bonide Captain Jack's Dead bug spray.
But for a back up I ordered Monterey insect spray which was recomended by a few in here.
Now back to killin' bugs.

I got some outside shelters for any critters that need it.
There is hay inside and will probably cover with a tarp or something.
Last winter my nieghbor had to uncover the snow and feed them
under her porch cause they were snowed in and could not get out.
I put kibble and fresh water out there daily and something eats it not sure what.
No sightings of any kitties or other animals.
Nocturnal I guess so hard to figure cause I know a groundhog/woodchuck comes around too.
And then there are those pesky squirrels! I had to stop feeding cause Sky dog goes nuts when they're out there.

IMG_5995.JPGIMG_5996.JPGIMG_5997.JPG
After using Capt Jack's and putting multipul leaves of both plants under my microscope all bugs seen were dead. 🎉
I was a bit worried about sevin stuff even tho the label says good with garden plants and such.
So.....My version of Bud Wash.........:ROFLMAO: Make it rain!!

Watch out it’s not rats getting a free meal. We’ve never had them before but this year I caught two in the garden. Filled in a few holes too. News said it’s been bad this year with a population explosion in the city.

Yep worked like a charm just like the last time I used it. Killed them all and fast too.
Got to hold Ghost in my lap today, for only a lil bit but it's progress.
He/She fought it a bit but not too much.

Went for my last ev bike ride of the year and finally rode down the gorge path on the ev.
I wanted to see how the electric bike the battery life performed.

Here's some pic's I took
First here is the balloon ride I'll never go on $25 for residents but I'm afraid of heights.
IMG_6001.JPGIMG_6003.JPG
Here we go down the start of the path, they have nice viewing areas to see too.
IMG_6008.JPGIMG_6010.JPG
The over hangs along the pathway are scary.
IMG_6015.JPGIMG_6016.JPGIMG_6017.JPG
It's an easy ride down but bumpy and stoney. My bike took it in stride with no problems.
IMG_6026.JPGIMG_6028.JPGIMG_6031.JPG
The stairs to no where I guess but there was something up there at one time.
The path leading up n up n up we go, thank goodness for the electric part of this bike,
It did the job with no sweat on me. Then there is the look out point they built which gives a pretty good view.
Canada is nice as you can see from the pic it has lots to do over there, here, not so much.
The construction going on at peak tourist season is because the leaders in NY are retarded and blocked the whole view on our side. haha stupidIMG_6038.JPGIMG_6041.JPG

Went for my last ev bike ride of the year and finally rode down the gorge path on the ev.
I wanted to see how the electric bike the battery life performed.

Here's some pic's I took
First here is the balloon ride I'll never go on $25 for residents but I'm afraid of heights.

Here we go down the start of the path, they have nice viewing areas to see too.

The over hangs along the pathway are scary.

It's an easy ride down but bumpy and stoney. My bike took it in stride with no problems.

Nice collection of beautiful and interesting photos. That balloon ride might be tough on the nerves, but I imagine the view would be nice.
