Ok I have a bunch of seeds sprouting in the new 8'x8' tent. Ill be running three Viparspectra lights and using "Organic Matters" living soil. Well its actually living coco. I have ran living coco before with pretty good results. I never post grow diaries because I always deal with some kind of BS plant problems and they never look as good as your guys plants. But maybe you can help me with problems this time. I have ditched the grow shed because bugs get in the shed too easy. So now I have the 8'x8' tent in the house and I am going lab sterile when I go in there. No hemp russet mites are allowed in here nor any other bugs!!

Anyway my dumb ass meant to grow some photos big(long veg) for the green house and some autos in the same tent. I accidentally added fems instead of photos so I don't know what Ill do now for flowering. So I am running:

Bodie - White Light Hashplant (13) Regulars

Greenpoint - Texas Toasted (7) Fems

El Lopez - Imperium X (5) Fems

Nothing to show yet besides my tent and dome but I'll update when things get interesting!

Just an update. Nothing too exiting yet. I threw in some Wedding Cake Autos from Greenpoint and some Vanilla Latte autos form Lopez.

These Vanilla Lattes may be duds not sure. Don't seem to be sprouting but I'll give them a while.

Also I threw in some Lemonade freebies from Bodie in the dome. Anything from Bodie ends up fire, you can;'t go wrong with this dudes breeding.

I have a bunch of stuff planted. Just popped another ten seeds of some testers of two different strains form Great Lakes Genetics. A lot of these got overwatered so don’t judge. Some seem less viable so we’ll see what thrives and what needs to go.

So far these autos from Greenpoint seeds are winning. I have seven of those but planted at different times.

My first time with autos, I planted two autos of “Deep Jealousy” from Mr. Lopez Oct 17th. One went to flower very fast and didn’t provide much herb but it was good. This one below is still in flower with probably three or four weeks to go. I planted this Oct 17th!! OCT 17th! Not sure what causes them to go into flower as both were vastly different. Maybe phenotypes?

I don’t see much advantage in autos so far. I could have planted a photo and saved on the electric bill and still get a good amount of flower. This plant got some kind of deficiency late on the game so I’m just riding it out.(the one in flower)

So if the third pic is an auto, you actually did very well with it! Another reason I don’t grow autos. Very minimal bearing versus a reg or fem seed. At least, that has been my experience.

Thanks, yeah thats the auto, "Deep Jealousy". I thought autos only take like 3.5 months. I guess not all of them! This one is five months old. Smells Wonderfull and I'm exited to try this pheno. I didn't top it and I had to bend the main stem over because it was getting tall!

I'm hoping the 7 auto "Wedding Cakes" don't take that long. I just topped three of them. they seem to be growing fast tho so I hope it is good genetics, Greenpoint seeds.

I've grown 2 autos ever, and both were in with photo seed packs from Pacific Seed Bank.

They were both terrible. Never did like autos.

Good luck on the run this year. You got those mites under control you think?

I sure hope so! I moved my grow inside except for that auto. Seems clean so far! I am going to get rove beetles for the greenhouse to exterminate any signs of eggs or mites.

Just an 8'x8' update. Three of the autos are flowering. The others are a few weeks behind. All the photos are coming along nice. I had 7 or 8 stunted plants from an initial overwatering that I had to toss. So I germinated more seeds. Pretty much everything quality I had is in the tent. I am going to collect some PNW Dogshit pollen and pollinate several different plants. I'm tired of buying seeds lol. Hoping to get about half females.

Looking good, I grow a few auto's, they can be very finicky as I have learned, 1 frosted Skywalker when to the lights, next one I topped and it did not like it. SS

Getting bushy in half the tent. So far I’ve identified three females and one male on the photos.

I have a question, so I start in either seed soil or the little spongy things(sorry stoner brain forgot the name) in a dome for a couple of weeks. One they have a lot of roots coming out I put in solo cups with holes in the bottom with seed soil. I then saturate the soil. I have had a number of stunted babies after this point. They turn yellow and kind of stop growing. I am afraid to water for quite a while because they look so over watered. This is in living soil by the way. Am I just over saturating the solo cups resulting in over watered stunted plants? I have to throw out about eight stunted ones. You can kind of see a little yellow one in the front that may be stunted. Thanks in advance.

If you see roots in the sponge then I would not feel the need for seed starter soil?
Once you get leaves after the cotyledons you should be feeding even if only lightly or with active soil.

These wedding cake autos are stacking nicely. I must have had a deficiency on a couple of them. I added organic bloom booster so we’ll see if that helps.

The photos are looking nice. So far I have ten females.

They are growing nicely. They were hit hard by caterpillars early on but are growing out of that mess.

This "Imperium X" is big for how long its been here. This one is clearly outshining the others. I'll bet this is a 2lb plant when all said and done.
