Starting with a shot in my spine next week. Got a few things going on, this will help determine if and what surgery I need. The whole thing has got me moving slow.

Been trying to schedule time with the kiddo to get some stuff done down there, specifically taking some clones and moving stuff around. Maybe tomorrow.

Bills vs chiefs tomorrow. Gotta go with the bills. I want to see them win a ring in my lifetime. I lived in Rochester NY back when the bills went 0-4 in back to back superbowls. That still stings.

Why won't the hotel serve soup to Jim Kelly? Afraid he will lose the bowl. BiLLLLs. I've heard them all.

Update - I got a shot in my spine thursday. Friggin worked.

I'll be back in the basement tomorrow! Time to take clones! I'll see what all I can get done but if I have time I'll do some tissue cultures and post that up. Got a few I really want to save. Time to get the mom tent rocking again.

can you explain more on the h2o2... did you dissipate peroxide from your water? so you basically cleaned your water first? how?

second question.. did you put those root directing plates on the bottom of all your netcups?

H202 dissipates on it's own.

Sterilized the system on startup with about 20PPM. Run the foggers, the fan, etc and it has the impact of sterilizing all the surfaces inside.

After 2 days, the H202 read zero PPM on the test strips. I did nothing but give it time to get to zero. Now the bennies can go in and hopefully they get a head start over any bad juju.

What I am hoping for here is that the tap root hits this, kinda winds itself up and starts forking. First time doing this so we will see. Should know by tomorrow nite and will post pics.
 
I battle to get out of the car sometimes and can’t move or walk.talk about a sharp pain..those lumber nerves on my lower right side hurt like crazy when my back goes but I’m sure my spines sending those signals like it’s squashing or pinching the nerve in spine…can’t do shit .i couldn’t get off the shitter yesterday .lol.had to slide off the seat onto the floor 😂😂😂.

That blows my dude. I had the first shot and thought I was fixed! that lasted about 36 hours and went right back to where I was. I have another shot tomorrow, they are going to target popping the cyst pushing on my spinal cord, and fill the space up with steroids and whatever else they got.

This time for SURE!

Do you have a bulging disk or something? Can’t smoke enough to take that pain away!

Hey Moe, did you see my question about low lights effect on Cannabis flowers? Have you played with lighting intensity at all? I'm almost convinced low light = frost ....and smaller buds...any thoughts?

Uno by the time I get in to get an X-ray done I’m all better lol and they just say your backs fine 🤬.itwill b a different this time round as it’s been bad since jan.but I’ve had other Heath probs that I’ve put first.i think your right on what it is or could b a slipped disc as that’s how it feels when it goes.I’ve had this problem long time but seems to take longer now to get better as I get older.it’s faaarked.i hate it.

Unfortunately the only way to really know what is going on is MRI. They didn't even see the cyst pressing on my cord until the MRI.

Any soft tissue stuff gets missed with Xray.

Virtual fist bump man, I know how this shit can take the wind out of your sails.
 
Honestly dudes it seems like both methods work. I know sometimes a single tap root is a struggle but even without the plate on the bottom if you plant the right from the vertical germinator I’m getting good results naturally

And the roots i do have are more than doubling daily. That’s what I want to see at this stage. If I brought the water temp up a little they would grow even faster.

Yes I think it did. I’ll have a full accounting across 10+ plants in the next couple of days as I move them into RDWC and we will decide together if it’s worth it. Print only takes 11 minutes so you might give it a try too next round.

Yeah got the shot. They drained the cyst. Hurt like a mother. Sitting here with a heart rate of 110. Just trying to chill.

so what is the real danger in this? is it that only some of the elements fall and we never really know which ones so the ratios are junk?
or is it just wasting nutes and bad practice?

i guess i'm asking because if it was to happen could we still use it?

It’s the metals. So iron copper etc.

Risk is wasting nutes and imbalances. Once you start down this path you really lose track of what’s in there. The precipitates won’t hurt anything tho just get the ph right and re-add micros. In your case with a single bottle you are pretty much sol.

Hells angels og x chemdawg. Some really og breeder cuts crossed by oldsog. Dude is a legend. I’ve grown this before it’s a crowd pleaser. I’ll be sharing if you are interested.

I’m not doing o2 this run. Everything atmospheric. But yeah if I was doing o2 it would have started from seedling.

I ran into problems with the atlas scientific do probe. Keeps getting fouled with nute build up. Have not come up with a solution yet. So going old school this run. I’m hoping the do probe I shipped you today works better. We can work on that together offline.

All other setpoints are controlled. Not running co2 yet but probably in about a week. I want all of them fully rooted and reaching water before I start to ramp things up. Had to put the mini split on heat mode. Res temp is a bit low for my liking at 67 but the chiller isn’t even on. Hopefully it heats up now that the heat is on and the tent is closed.

I’m really happy with the roots on all of them even without the plates. But I do think the plates on the bottom did help with branching on the ones that had them. Time will tell as these things get big.

The goal is to get down to the best 8 plants by the switch but honestly all 12 look like keepers. 12 is just too much for this space with the growth rates I typically get. With 8 it will still be a jungle. I’m going to flip early and try to keep things manageable.

I suppose if I wanted a couple grams per plant and did bonsai. No friggin way 15 plants will fit in there until flower. Even with just 1 the roots would get all caught up in the fan and other hardware.

I’m sure you would find a way to make it work tho.

For me I’ll stick to the 4x8 fog tent with the 4 55 gallon totes to flower in via fog. Leave the cloner to be a cloner/seedling starter.

I’m trying to teach my kid how to hydro so I can hand over the reigns to him. Having 2 people makes it easier to get pics and video. Trying to grab all these little training tidbits as we go and I’ll eventually put them all together in a hydro A to Z for beginners kinda thread. Right now we are focused on bennies establishment.

Doing stuff on the bench always made it more understandable to me but hardly anyone bothers. Hard to believe but I have never seen that experiment posted before. Once you see it with your own eyes it tends to get locked in better than just reading about it.

i got youre DWC and FOG tents mixed up, thinking you only had the fog cloner and RDWC for flower.

and guess i forgot about the actual fog tent for flower, cause of the RDWC vid above.

so now i meant, when the next fog flower run?

the plants coming from the fog cloner and going into the RDWC confused me for a second there, my bad, thought it was a fog run you were going to do not a RDWC.
