What are you thinking for your next setup? Same size tent?I'm halfway through my first grow and I'm already looking at other lights. Why? So I can put together another tent, of course.

Thinking maybe a smaller veg tent to run perpetually. My SE5000 might not fit in a 3x3 so maybe a 4x4. Shoot maybe even a 2x4 and get a cheaper light for veg. What are you thinking for your next setup? Same size tent?
I’ve been thinking about a 2x4 as well. I currently only have a 2x2 in the closet and 4x4 in garage which isn’t air conditioned. So trying to make space for a 2x4x5 in the closet to get a little more space to run year round.Thinking maybe a smaller veg tent to run perpetually. My SE5000 might not fit in a 3x3 so maybe a 4x4. I see you praising your new light and really like the idea of being able to control the spectrum.
That's got really even coverage, according to their chart.I’ve been thinking about a 2x4 as well. I currently only have a 2x2 in the closet and 4x4 in garage which isn’t air conditioned. So trying to make space for a 2x4x5 in the closet to get a little more space to run year round.

Anyone have any input on the new AC Infinity lights? They have a 2x4 option and some other QB and bar style lights out now.
Yeah that’s what caught my eye. Someone from another weed community turned me on the the brand. The price and even par map seemed like a no brainer. Growing in a smaller space makes good lighting around the edges really important imo. That's got really even coverage, according to their chart.
Great light. Might have to put it on my list when I'm deciding on lighting upgrades. 2 in my 5 x 5 would be ideal.I’ve been thinking about a 2x4 as well. GPU? just says something generic AMD ATIpersonal system is back online. specs in the pic View attachment 19297
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XTGPU? just says something generic AMD ATI
cooling? could probably safely overlock a little if not already.
i looked into ryzen systems years ago, just never put the money together to finally buy parts and build one after my old system shit out.
man this had to of been like 7 years ago if not longer, when ryzen was just coming out
I hate installing drivers. Especially HP drivers for their printers.GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT
Edit: the drivers on Debian don't act quite right so a bunch of shit is fucky
oh man... don't get me started with HP, or any consumer grade printer anymore really. HP happens to be particularly egregious with their data collection and manipulation of consumers though.I hate installing drivers. Especially HP drivers for their printers.
What gets me is I'm STILL gullible enough to believe it'll actually fix the issue!oh man... don't get me started with HP, or any consumer grade printer anymore really. HP happens to be particularly egregious with their data collection and manipulation of consumers though.
there's a joke in programming that aligns with this. a programmer has a problem, so they decide to use regular expressions to solve it. now they have two problems. that's basically what buying HP gear does for the consumer. What gets me is I'm STILL gullible enough to believe it'll actually fix the issue!
I hope HP pays out big on their latest class action lawsuit against them. They are crooks.oh man... don't get me started with HP, or any consumer grade printer anymore really. HP happens to be particularly egregious with their data collection and manipulation of consumers though.
yeah, i heard about that, and am a victim of that yellow ink bullshit. not to mention, you can't set up their all-in-ones without installing an app on your phone, then connecting the printer to your wifi network where it immediately builds a topology of your network and phones home with that data. you can't direct connect to a computer anymore, either, because they don't put cable ports (ethernet, printer, usb, serial, whathaveyou) on their devices anymore so you basically have no choice BUT to put this spyware piece of shit equipment on your network just to be able to use it.I hope HP pays out big on their latest class action lawsuit against them. They got a suit against them on their all in one printers. If you run out of ink you are locked out from scanning and faxing, total bs. If you run out of yellow ink you can't print straight black documents(text) either.
HP commented that users should buy a scanner if they need to scan... All in ones are around $50 but their cheapest stand alone scanner is over 200. They play the game of getting their money back through over priced ink.... So they lock you out only for financial gain..
Edit- btw it is has been discovered that the average home user only uses 20% of an HP ink cartridge while 80% is lost in maintenance cycles. I'm very partial to believing the maintenance cycle wastes more ink than needed, also for financial gain.
It's a godamn racket
Sorry I hate them....
I have a feeling someone in Big Pharma applied their business model to Tech seeing as how effective it was for them. Cure? HA!,,,,,but take this. It'll alleviate some of the pain.....credit or debit?yeah, i heard about that, and am a victim of that yellow ink bullshit. not to mention, you can't set up their all-in-ones without installing an app on your phone, then connecting the printer to your wifi network where it immediately builds a topology of your network and phones home with that data. you can't direct connect to a computer anymore, either, because they don't put cable ports (ethernet, printer, usb, serial, whathaveyou) on their devices anymore so you basically have no choice BUT to put this spyware piece of shit equipment on your network just to be able to use it.
and it's a damn shame. i used to love HPs offerings -- their laptops were some of the best I've owned and lasted for years. but, like Walmart, Chick-fil-a, and Samsung, I'll never give them another dime. companies like them should be ran out of the free market with zero mercy.
Who the fuck takes away all physical ports... stupid mofos. same idiots that don't think the owner has the right to work on their own equipment(john d.)yeah, i heard about that, and am a victim of that yellow ink bullshit. not to mention, you can't set up their all-in-ones without installing an app on your phone, then connecting the printer to your wifi network where it immediately builds a topology of your network and phones home with that data. you can't direct connect to a computer anymore, either, because they don't put cable ports (ethernet, printer, usb, serial, whathaveyou) on their devices anymore so you basically have no choice BUT to put this spyware piece of shit equipment on your network just to be able to use it.

The best laptop I've owned was an IBM Thinkpad. I think I still have it in storage somewhere.Who the fuck takes away all physical ports... stupid mofos. same idiots that don't think the owner has the right to work on their own equipment(john d.)
I still keep my old HP laptop around... Just for the firewire port when needed. It came in handy when doing converting some old DV8(i think they are called) tapes for someone, was able to get a direct digital copy of the tape via the camcorder instead of using an analog video capture device. (DV media, this was an actual digital recording via tape media)
yes that old HP laptop is def rugged and still workin whenever i might need it. While this Dell laptop cracked its top shell in the first year, when i opened it with my hand not directly in the middle...
funny you mention that, was just talking to the IT person at work about giving a select few Linux or FreeBSD boxes. Thinkpads are the first laptop that comes to mind when thinking about full hardware support for *nix variants. The best laptop I've owned was an IBM Thinkpad. That thing was practically bullet proof. When I got mine I also appreciated what I wasn't given. Bloatware. Almost zero add ins other than some useless IBM tool suite and the proverbial McAfee AV crap.funny you mention that, was just talking to the IT person at work about giving a select few Linux or FreeBSD boxes. haha i'm pretty sure any Cisco shop used to give out the Thinkpads as a consolation prize when they hired people on those thinkpads were everywhere for years man...That thing was practically bullet proof. Funny you should mention the 'nix thing. I was recommended that computer by a friend of mine that specializes in all things Linux as far as databases and another IT network specialist friend that was specialized in Cisco Enterprise Networking.
