Every fella needs to have a jeep phase at some point in their life IMO! A hot rod and motorcycle phase at some point too.
Yeah man, looks brand new to me and it's new to you so yep, brand new!!!
I fell in love with Jeeps way back with my grandpa and his WWII surplus Jeep. Thing was a goat and could go anywhere and he damn sure took it everywhere a only a goat or maybe a horse could go.
I never folded the window down on mine or took the doors off other than the top half of the doors but never off the hinge part. My top was pretty cool with either sunroof mode, all off, or no windows like a bimini top for a boat.
My winch was a harbor Freight warn knock off and only used it a couple times pulling a tree canopy off my roof to cut it down and lay it beside the house, pulling boats onto trailers, using it to lift outboards off boat transoms, and pulled a stump or two with it. Nice to have a good winch around.
Also had a CB radio which was weird at best. Mostly bootleg Mexican radio and sick fuck truckers on it. Best accessory was on board air. I used it to inflate tires and also clean the cab, air up whatever inflatable toys and float tubes etc. Basically a portable, under hood mounted air compressor. That's the one biggie I really miss from my Jeep days. It saved a few flats on my quad and hauler back in those days.
Those were also my Polaris quad days too so we all kinds of fun on trails up in the Hill Country with those two toys.
My first car was a 1979 302 Mercury Capri, same as the Ford Mustang but a hatchback. Fun car but a very light back end, needed sand bags especially in winter.

Next was the same but the 6 cylinder Gia model. Had lots of extra features. Only a V6.

Then the 1988 Jeep YJ, it was a 256 straight six iirc.

I’d ridden a few dirt bikes and motorcycles at this point but didn’t own one until much later. Went through a few Kawasaki Cruisers before getting the BMW R1200GS.

A few more cars between my first and these days but it seems I checked all your boxes. 😂👊

Used the winch a few times for guys that got stuck bad. A few more times at my dads farm for pulling trees/trunks and fence posts.

Thanks buddy.
Apps don't work when you don't have service so I don't think I would get a wireless remote. Sounds cool but if I need the winch, chances are I'm in the stix and probably have shotty service.
Depends on the app. I only use Bluetooth on my phone and ACI controllers. I don’t use WiFi.

I only suggested it because you said you didn’t have a cable connection.

You can call the company and see if they will help you out. I’ve done it in the past for used equipment I’ve bought. Pre 2010 I’d say you might get it shipped to you for free. These days who knows but it never hurts to ask.

Took it down to the river today. Crawled up and down the banks, no trouble and no slippage. It's a fuckin' beast.
Nice. You into fishing off shore? Rainbow or salmon from river banks? Later I got a zodiac and 9.9HP motor. Fit in the back with the seat out perfectly. You got the extra space with the new model.

No no.. it's got the hookup for a remote, just didn't come with it. I think a universal one from Harbor Freight will fix me right up.

..... I'm about as far as possible from being able to fish off-shore and any rivers within 3-4 hours from me aren't really fishable. Walkable, yeah. That's why I bowfish. Hard to put a dent in the carp populations though.

Hope it’s reasonable.

I’m not a fan of carp. Won’t eat them and it’s like hauling in a water logged tree trunk. Trout, Steel Head and Salmon are what I river fish. Been a few years though. All the near by places have been developed or gotten so polluted I won’t fish there anymore.

Yeah they're more work than they're worth when it comes to cleaning and eating. Way too many bones.

Even though they're invasive, I've lost the thrill of carp hunting. I realize it helps the environment, but it's just killing and death while telling yourself you're feeding a hungry coon. After my few trips up into the Colorado highlands, camping and bowfishing for pike, I don't fish here anymore. We found a crystal clear resevoir with a healthy pike population. Out there, you're helping the trout while bagging a fish that's worth eating. Take it back to the campsite, clean it and fry it up. Nothing better than eating a fresh catch/kill.

Everything still cruising along in the tent as we start to really frost and fatten.

The lights are fully into CLW's suggested finishing ratios at 60% intensity. I keep diluting down the reservoirs. They'll hold steady for a day or two before the pH dives and I dilute. We're sitting around .6EC after this morning. I don't see myself giving them any more nutes. I'll just keep diluting what they're working with.

I clipped a lower nug and scoped it... Little to no milky trichomes so I can't say when we're gonna chop these bitches. I keep telling my wife "one more week". I threw that little nug in the Cannatrol so she'll have a tester nug in a few days 🤣

Very close! So close I can smell it!
Looks like they're trying to spit out that last gasp effort before the downward spiral.

You ever play around with your spectrums outside the CLW suggestions?
That was kinda like drivers ed for me. I followed along but after I was like okay lemme take the wheel and do some burnouts and see what this mutha can do!

i always felt those suggestions were made for the gen1 lights. that chart hasn't been changed since then anyway. we know for a fact their light spectrum has.

i've been running 1:1:1 for this round even with the gen1 lights. my last soil harvest was all even spectrum as well. and only 10/14 schedule.

No never have. I planned to look more into which color spectrum does what to the plants morphology, but never got around to it. Works well enough with the student driver sticker on the bumper 🤣

I don't think I'll be using for flowering after this run. Moving forward, I'm gonna rebuild everything into a 4x8 tent using Moe's Raging Kush lights. I need to look into those a bit.

I gotta give some HVAC guys free run of my basement as soon as this harvest it dried and cured. Afterwards, I'll be trying to get my forever setup built. 4x8 with the Raging Kush lights and a minisplit and O2 injection, possibly CO2 as well. Then another 4x8 for my moms and clones. If I like Moe's lights enough, the CLW may get retired.

Have you done any kind of program where it starts at one spectrum but then changes midway and finishes in another spectrum during the same lights on period? I've never even really looked at how advanced a program can be outside of a single set spectrum and timer.

Not just gen1 but i also think those programs were made to create bleaching. In 2017, bleaching was desirable but now we all know the Vashon Velvet claim was bullshit.

I like the sound of "forever setup"
I think that phrase or something similar was in my head around 2004;pass
I'm somewhat familiar with the company behind those RK lights, Scyence, and they're a good fit, pretty much used at the same height and same way as something like the 1100.
I like the blue in the SolarSystem and still believe it's the best blue money can buy in a light. Been thinking about their 175s in veg array but used as finishers along with UV blue ranges

Haha yeah. Wishful thinking...

I played with one a little bit yesterday. Pretty neat. 5 channels of customization that really just boils down to whites and reds. There's a slider for the whites to choose warm or cool, then a slider for the intensity. Same for the reds. Far red or just red, olus intensity. Then there's a slider for overall intensity. Kinda neat.

I also have a couple far red and UV bars that will likely be implemented.

Would some supplemental UV get the RKs cloaer to CLWs blue output?

I'm thinking about throwing the CLW on blue only until harvest. Could be a week. Could be two or three... You ever finish with all blue?

Very cool!
yes I've ran only blue and so many variations I lost count and track.
Where I'm at with this is the all purpose for every strain finishing spectrum is somewhere around 7000 to 10,000 kelvin in light color temp.
The lower that number the more red the color and the higher it is, the more blue and crisp white it will be.
It's not all UV or all blue etc. It's a blend of colors to get that 7-10K but blue and white is a huge part of it

It's difficult in some ways because there is no meter for kelvins. We have spectrometers that measure color and then we take that color and mix it up trying to find that 7-10K.
Red is a very dominating color in this at almost 2:1 so you need to pretty much double the blue to even match equal to red in just about every light out there. To get more blue usually requires supplements and that's where the blue bars and UV comes in but more often than not, they're severely underpowered to deliver the photons at the density we need. They can light up a poster but don't do shit in horticulture is what that is.
The blue that's in those SS lights is Osram and it just can't be duplicated man. It's just special in those regards. Like you can rebuild a Kia in all sorts of ways but it will never be a Corvette. That's what it's like trying to find another blue comparable to that Osram diode in there
