Every fella needs to have a jeep phase at some point in their life IMO! A hot rod and motorcycle phase at some point too.
Yeah man, looks brand new to me and it's new to you so yep, brand new!!!
I fell in love with Jeeps way back with my grandpa and his WWII surplus Jeep. Thing was a goat and could go anywhere and he damn sure took it everywhere a only a goat or maybe a horse could go.
I never folded the window down on mine or took the doors off other than the top half of the doors but never off the hinge part. My top was pretty cool with either sunroof mode, all off, or no windows like a bimini top for a boat.
My winch was a harbor Freight warn knock off and only used it a couple times pulling a tree canopy off my roof to cut it down and lay it beside the house, pulling boats onto trailers, using it to lift outboards off boat transoms, and pulled a stump or two with it. Nice to have a good winch around.
Also had a CB radio which was weird at best. Mostly bootleg Mexican radio and sick fuck truckers on it. Best accessory was on board air. I used it to inflate tires and also clean the cab, air up whatever inflatable toys and float tubes etc. Basically a portable, under hood mounted air compressor. That's the one biggie I really miss from my Jeep days. It saved a few flats on my quad and hauler back in those days.
Those were also my Polaris quad days too so we all kinds of fun on trails up in the Hill Country with those two toys.
My first car was a 1979 302 Mercury Capri, same as the Ford Mustang but a hatchback. Fun car but a very light back end, needed sand bags especially in winter.

Next was the same but the 6 cylinder Gia model. Had lots of extra features. Only a V6.

Then the 1988 Jeep YJ, it was a 256 straight six iirc.

I’d ridden a few dirt bikes and motorcycles at this point but didn’t own one until much later. Went through a few Kawasaki Cruisers before getting the BMW R1200GS.

A few more cars between my first and these days but it seems I checked all your boxes. 😂👊

Used the winch a few times for guys that got stuck bad. A few more times at my dads farm for pulling trees/trunks and fence posts.

Thanks buddy.
Apps don't work when you don't have service so I don't think I would get a wireless remote. Sounds cool but if I need the winch, chances are I'm in the stix and probably have shotty service.
Depends on the app. I only use Bluetooth on my phone and ACI controllers. I don’t use WiFi.

I only suggested it because you said you didn’t have a cable connection.

You can call the company and see if they will help you out. I’ve done it in the past for used equipment I’ve bought. Pre 2010 I’d say you might get it shipped to you for free. These days who knows but it never hurts to ask.

Took it down to the river today. Crawled up and down the banks, no trouble and no slippage. It's a fuckin' beast.
Nice. You into fishing off shore? Rainbow or salmon from river banks? Later I got a zodiac and 9.9HP motor. Fit in the back with the seat out perfectly. You got the extra space with the new model.

No no.. it's got the hookup for a remote, just didn't come with it. I think a universal one from Harbor Freight will fix me right up.

..... I'm about as far as possible from being able to fish off-shore and any rivers within 3-4 hours from me aren't really fishable. Walkable, yeah. That's why I bowfish. Hard to put a dent in the carp populations though.

Hope it’s reasonable.

I’m not a fan of carp. Won’t eat them and it’s like hauling in a water logged tree trunk. Trout, Steel Head and Salmon are what I river fish. Been a few years though. All the near by places have been developed or gotten so polluted I won’t fish there anymore.

Yeah they're more work than they're worth when it comes to cleaning and eating. Way too many bones.

Even though they're invasive, I've lost the thrill of carp hunting. I realize it helps the environment, but it's just killing and death while telling yourself you're feeding a hungry coon. After my few trips up into the Colorado highlands, camping and bowfishing for pike, I don't fish here anymore. We found a crystal clear resevoir with a healthy pike population. Out there, you're helping the trout while bagging a fish that's worth eating. Take it back to the campsite, clean it and fry it up. Nothing better than eating a fresh catch/kill.

Everything still cruising along in the tent as we start to really frost and fatten.

The lights are fully into CLW's suggested finishing ratios at 60% intensity. I keep diluting down the reservoirs. They'll hold steady for a day or two before the pH dives and I dilute. We're sitting around .6EC after this morning. I don't see myself giving them any more nutes. I'll just keep diluting what they're working with.

I clipped a lower nug and scoped it... Little to no milky trichomes so I can't say when we're gonna chop these bitches. I keep telling my wife "one more week". I threw that little nug in the Cannatrol so she'll have a tester nug in a few days 🤣
