Impromptu Apples and Bananas RDWC - Bud Builders

Wanting to see your daily log. I think the way your feeding now would be similar to the way @Aqua Man would recommend with feeding slightly higher ppm and @Moe.Red and i feed more in line with feeding only as needed daily.

correct me if im wrong with the above but im trying to wrap my head around the difference in how we feed and i think @SweetLeafGrow is to

A lot depends on the VPD and genetics.

Alot of progress since the last update, this grow is dialed in. Running steady 600 ppms, week three GH ratios, pH steady and slow rise, almost perfect. I seen zero leaf tip burn and no sign of deficiency.

I have the light at 100% now and raised it almost all the way up. The tallest branch was seriously tacoing from being too close, I removed the hanging straps that lose a few inches and tied the light directly to the top tent support. I could probably get another 2" out of it if needed, but for now, seems to be good. I do believe the stretch is just about over, will do the last defoliation on Saturday of everything below the support trellis, right at about 3 weeks since flip at this time.

Super stoked to see some success this time around after last grow, gonna keep it going to the finish line!IMG_3123.jpegIMG_3128.jpegIMG_3124.jpegIMG_3125.jpegIMG_3126.jpegIMG_3127.jpeg

That's a happy plant dude. Down the road you may find benefit from a max headspace rdwc setup like I did with my 3x3, maybe check it out sometime when you're between grows.
Ingenious, really. My only concern is you lose the tent's ability to hold back a little bit of a flood. Otherwise, genius.

Not a lot to report on this gal, cruising along and starting to stack flowers. I think the stretch is over, thankfully. Some of the flower tops are too close and are distorting a bit but Imma leaving em alone. Still running right around 620 ppm flower GH trio and calmag. Everything has been super stable and I am super stoked for this one. Did a bunch of defoliation today and she is sticky as all get out already.IMG_3162.jpegIMG_3163.jpegIMG_3164.jpegIMG_3165.jpeg

She's got some big calyx already!

Looking good. For the steams too close to the light take a look at what @Mad Max did. looked smart and handy!!!

Thanks for the reference guys! I did not even know what terms to search to find this! 👊 Also, very cool idea Max 👊
Not sure I want to try this on established flowers?

Anyhow, right at 5 weeks since flip but this gal took almost a full two weeks to show flowers so we're starting the countdown around the 15th of July, that puts me at a full 3 weeks into flowering. Other than the tall branches turning purple on me, I don't see much awry. The lower branches are not showing the purple at all so I attribute this to being too close to the light on those ones. Doesn't seem to be hurting anything other than some of the sugars are distorting slightly.

This plant is drinking about 2 gallons of water a day, riding at 600 ppm and will be tapering off the cal/mag soon, pH has been very steady, rock solid in fact.

Been fighting high RH levels and temperatures but the window AC is keeping up.

Slowed it down abit..should see it now.lol.I could of continued running it horizontal as i have a stake in there now and could of tied it lower on the stake.

yeah you can on established flower with the branch getting a little woody.ideally if that was my grow and I knew the light was going to b too inrense I’d run another net over and cropped probably 7 of those branches and tied them to the net..there is a light possibility it could stress them doing 7 .I’d prolly do 2 or 3 of them then wait a few days then do the others…cannabis plants can take a lot of punishment though.I’ve had stems split from where I’ve topped really badly down 3-4 nodes and it never flinched lol.

Once you figure out all the stuff you dont need to worry about you can just do updates lol.
For sure. I'll start a new permajournal once I get through this first grow. Lot's of learning going on in there and lots of first dad vibes with nearly daily updates. New parents always showing off their kids and shit 🤣

I totally get it brother. To be sure, I wasnt being critical of it, just pointing out how everything gets much less worrisome(and more fun) after the first. Just like kids yeah.

Thinking about 3 more weeks with this gal, maybe 4, plenty of time for these flowers to fatten up, which they are currently doing. I don't remember this strain being a huge yielder but I did get 11 ounces from my first hydro grow with this strain, hoping to surpass that this time, dare I think I might get a pound? Hell yea!IMG_3226.jpegIMG_3227.jpegIMG_3230.jpegIMG_3231.jpegIMG_3232.jpegIMG_3233.jpegIMG_3234.jpegIMG_3235.jpeg

Those buds look awesome dude! The structure is cool too.
I cant wait to flower one of these clones lol.

Thanks guys, I'm starting to think this gal is closer than I realized. Be keeping a good eye on her, very happy with how this gal came out considering how it all started. She is sticky as all get out and very pungent for sure.

I have super high hopes for the 4 site with clones from this gal, they are looking much better under the Raging Kush, nodal spacing is way better and these are going to be some donkey dicks I am thinking. Here is a photo from today of that grow.

This gal is cruising to the finish line, pretty much on auto pilot at this point. Done feeding in top offs and gonna let the ppms drop from that 600 range where it's been as she drinks less and less water each day. Flowers are ripening up, a few new pistils here and there but she is getting close. Will look at trichs later in the week and see where she is. Not going to be a huge yielder but I think I should get a good harvest. I've had to tie her back toward the back of the tent as she keeps wanting to fall over toward the door. Flowers are noticeably larger than they were last week at this time so she is still putting on some bulk so we shall see! Smelling awesome and sticky as all get out.IMG_3267.jpegIMG_3268.jpegIMG_3269.jpegIMG_3270.jpegIMG_3271.jpegIMG_3272.jpeg

Looking good
Thanks bro, cautiously optimistic!

Got some nice purpling happening SLG.beaut grow this one..very healthy 👍
Hell yea Max, thanks bro.

Thanks to all for the kind words on these grows, means a lot coming from such experts in the field 👊

Up until now this gal has been looking very close, so I took a closer look today at trichomes. She is very close, I could probably take her today, but I’m going to let it go for at least another day or two for a bit more Amber.
