Observers' 2x4 Space

Pruned. (just the drip plants mainly)
More oxygen and nutrients the rootzone can supply for the next new growth
Removed big fan leafs blocking the lower nodes
Removed the lower lowest nodes as thats too low and close to the media, in my way/drip way.
The white coloring is oxidation, lol.

I love how much cleaner the wool can be

No loose "dirt" bullshit.

The dwc kinda stalled out, dried out, water line was not there, lol.
Kratky cups are still goin strong it seems, ive been changing the solution every 2 days or so, probably dont need to as often but, fresh supply and o2 dose

Now time to seal it up, get temps and rh up mid 80s/70s, and they'll be back ☝️ towards the light, more so, PPFD back up 25-50% from 5%, 200-450ppfd

(gotta turn it down to take pictures, or my phones camera processing makes it so yellow

popped another seed lol

made another "starter" solution.

i would use 0ppm water but i am currently out, so tap it was. final E.C ended at 0.2 so not bad. 5.4-5.5 pH

tap/1/gal
5.0mL mr fulvic
6.5mL H2O2 (34%)
5.9mL Ca(CIO)2
citric acid with less than 2% SiO4 to ph target
a pinch of MagSulfate
a pinch of KELP

Cheap pH down

"Notably, the researchers took a new approach to generating the electric field in the pea patch. Instead of pulling it from the grid, they generated it on site using a triboelectric nanogenerator powered by harvested energy from wind and rainfall—an approach, they noted, that cost only US $40"

its not for harvesting energy to use in that sense, per se.

its to convert energy that is there/available and transfer that into electrifying the fields.

w/o changing the material and being able to print that, that 3d printed TENG, dont think itll go to far, but it also does not take alot of power at all to stimulate the plant

i just briefly glanced at it before i fell asleep, thought it was neat that someone 3d printed a small TENG basically, after i was reading that china paper about electroculture

both of these papers talk about electroculture, just different ways.
@Zen_seeker oh my bad

Those little 3D printed ones, using indoors, I guess would be pointless? Lol, would go another route with just electrodes and batteries, some wires, clips

I don't know, just scratching the surface really

Fucking done with this shit for today already

so god damn fucking discouraging

I get the plan got screwed but you can recover or use the recovered seeds blind? It’s not like you have 100 strains to sort. What happens if you use a recovered seed and it grows? It’s one of 3 or 4 strains…isn’t that close enough for this experiment?

Yah I was just making a big deal out of nothing

Letting out a bunch of pressure.

It does suck but oh well I need to do better.

So I have the 4 "moms" from those "packs" "growing" just slow, i just am not a fan of not having them around and labeled, for backup.

I'm doing too much at once again need to pace my self

OCD, ADD/ADHD…a few others…
You are not your impulses.

daughter got into my new seeeds

found the 3 out of 4 packs but they are all mixed up now, dont know what is what, so FUCK EM.
out of sight and out of mind, guess i wont have those.

just the 4 i planted, and hope those fucking WORK

otherwise, yea, my planned out run is fucked if those 4 seeds/plants dont fucking grow worth a fuck
cause now i CANT FUCKING REPLANT THEM

im fuckin defeated

fucking fuck

FUCK FUCK FUCK
This is why we can't have nice things lol

They perked right up,after

This is why we can't have nice things lol

Doesn’t change much when they get older…not until they move out and have to buy their own crap. Then they get it. So you have about 20+ years to train yours. 🤣

Yup 18 years left till then, lol. Love her to death though

Too soggy?

Only did one RW cube 16 months ago. Fail big time. Do better other ways. I find this interesting but doubt I’ll try again any time soon.

You let me see what I’m missing, or avoiding, depends on the outcome. 🤣

Too soggy
Besides everything else lol, I think it is.

At first I thought i was doing too dry on the SEED STARTS because the root looks like its "splintering" or "breaks" like a zigzag down the sides , making me think too dry, but rn st lights off these cubes are more than likely too wet so I shake some out

Well, it's a lot more "sensitive" media, inert, sterile, not messy like soil or coco, no restrictions to the plant basically, ALOT more control.

It's a "high-performance" media

Little learning curve at first but I understand the concept and how to use them about now

I'm rooting these out and then I'll probably move them in the 5x /grow bags and "mom" em out from there

Ill try to show what I mean about the root "splintering" don't want disturb these one's though

It seems also very important on how you place the seed in or on the cube.

Using less water and a PkN ratio

That’s unexpected.
Yea so you can place the seed on top and just let it do it's thing, but if you push in it too much into the hole, into the cube it seems it can get a little too tight for the shell and seed to shed...

Ahhh

So you use this recipe to seedlings after they emerge the media, huh? I use Foop Garden & FF big bloom usually, FF is susposed to help seedlings, earthworm castings I guess,Cheers bro
