We cannot even get close or it runs and hides.
idk maybe releasing it back out in the streets might be the only solution.
Sugar buddy is doing real well, she must have been a house cat to someone.
Still not sure if she is pregnant or not. boy oh boy!
Patch is also doing better he will lay in my lap and want me to pet him and rub his belly.
But still runs out of habit and finds a secure place to lay low from Sky or us sometimes.
Patch is getting used to Sky and Sky to him.

My boy Qnight gets aggressive with the other 2 he goes on a prowl and the other 2 scatter, the first one he sees gets attacked. He gets wound up from Crows in the yard or another cat or raccoon at night when hes out in his enclosure. We think he may need some kitty Valium to calm him in the winter months when he can't get outside as much.

Yeah, kitty Valium sounds good. I’ll have to find out about that.
Before the twins ghost would go in heat and hell of a storm all night and day and leave palm size to a hand size spray in the seller.
I know she’s in heat now because I seen a blood spot by the kitty litter. Funny thing is she don’t bother patch too young or Mail I guess but she goes after the twin girls probably because they are so young she could take advantage..
I’m hoping the howling is over by tonight.

Transplanted the last 2 into their final AP pots today.
It went well, Now if they just take to the soil with no probls.
Roots looked pretty good, nothing spectacular like SDH was.
2 more weeks and I turn on the system!

Back in the 80's my cat got diagnosed with stress.
They actually prescribed him valium~!
I think it was only 1mg per dose.
You should have seen the looks I got when the pharmacist called out the prescription was ready by calling the name on label.
" Buckwheat M, your prescription is ready~!"
When I said that's my cat he said he must be a bad kitty.
I said no just a little stressed~!

We bought some kitty Valium when we drove for 3 days down to Florida with one of our cats, it helped a lot the first day until she got used to being in the car for so long, she just slept then woke hung over with dopey eye's and feeble mews

Ah low dose val, the only problem is we can't touch her let alone catch her to see the doc.
Patch is going in first to get them balls sniped then we'll see who's next.
Ghost hides and is hard to find and when cornered, she gets nasty, hissin' with claws out.
Sooner or later we'll get it done.

The most complex grow for me.
I got it down to a 5/5/5/5 for 3 plants and 4/4/4/4 for the other 2 slackers that are 2 weeks behind the others.
Sun Daze haze os the oldest at about 9 weeks in veg with another week or two to go before 12/12 starts.
I got them all in the oil pans ($ store) sitting on the floor except for the 2 slackers which have a mini crate under them for now.
Main thing is I got them all pretty healthy!
They will sit in the nute water for another 5-6 days.
Then I'll set up the system and turn it on.
Waiting for some extra blue lines I sent for, hope they hurry up and get here.
Next ime I'm going one and done (solo cup to final system pot), this shit is too much trouble.
I did that once before and it worked good and not sure why I abandoned that idea. I think I just forgot it. lol
I'll hook up the side lights and maybe the UV's after the system is on.
Then I'll know where the final position of the pots will be.
At first the 7 cats were giving me anxiety, lol but it fades out over time and I'm adusted to them now hahaha
Speaking of being adjusted, they are all buddies, except Sugar Buddy, she is ok but takes no shit from the other cats
or Sky. I think she is preggy and I think she is very young to be this way.
Patch is doing very well and comes upstairs more but I think I created a treat monster, as he cuddles and rubs up on me and
follows me around, until I give him a treat! He is a bully too! He pushes his way in and eats the other cats treats or food.
That's the feral in him. Little by little, he is loosing that feral instinct to run and hide from us.
His paws are huge and I believe he is going to be a big cat!
The twins are getting bigger and all are getting used to the big dog in the house.

Auto Pots Roll Out!
The system is officialy on.
Got the speggetti lines all figured out.
All went well, I did try to do the best I could with those lines but it still looks a mess haha.
Glad I ordered the extra lines, it made it easier than trying to piece together what I had.
Forgot to get a couple of shut off valves and a few straight connectors, had to wing it till they come in.
Sorta made a circle of pots and hope I don't have to adjust or move them around to much.
Nutes are at 6/6/6/6 (GH Micro, Grow, Bloom, CM) for now, that will change after the flip.
One rez tank feeds the 3 pots on the left which includes the larger XXL 6.6g pot that's front and center.
The other tank feeds the 2 pots on the right and these 2 plants are behind by at least a week.
I'll flip them sometime this week, after I set up the side lights.
The schedule I wrote down says "flip on the 14th" but I'm a few days behind, so we'll see.

We had a bit of a warm spell for a few days and now it's back to winter weather.
I have to stop feeding the animals at night cause the cam spotted a skunk and a possum at (possum) 4 am and (skunk) 7am
Only a couple of cats come at night, an Orange one and Marbles (I think both belong to someone) and another feral tabby I seen around the alley.
Ah and I finally seen the Mother cow cat again, with a collar on .

"Can't save them all" she says. and she's right. Sometimes you have to look away.
I'll put kibble out in the daytime and pull it in at night but will keep warm water out for them in freezing temps.
I'll leave the cat door open for now, until spring, Then I'll shut it down for good.
Can't take a chance on Sky getting bit or a Vet bill.

12/12 Starts Tomorrow
I got the side lights up, both sets!
Took awhile to figure out how I'm going to do it.
The sticks I had hanging from the ceiling were too short and
it's too cold outside to look for replacements in my wood pile behind the shed.
I used the 5' metal garden rods with the clips I brought to put them together in a sorta cage. (Plant cage match, who's gonna be the champ?)
Then attached the lights with zip ties. The new ones are magnetic and stuck to the rods but not good enough for me.
I'ts hacky, but I got it done, then I thought, why not just cut one board up, adding an extention piece, then they would be long enough to hang.
Oh well, it's done for now. Kinda hard to get around. Especially when I have to trim or defoilate.
It's open for change in the future. For now it works.
All is going well and had to add 4 gal of nutes to the #! bucket, that's the one that feeds 3, including the xxl pot.
#2 is going down but very slow. I'll have to keep an eye on that one.

They (National Grid electric co.) are going to install new "smart meters" pretty soon and I've heard bad things about them.
I really can't afford a $100-$200 increase in my electric bill, if that's true, what some say. It would mean the end of my growing.
I could op out for $15 a month extra on my bill to leave the old one in place. IDK
There is mixed reviews on it and some say it does and some say no difference.
I don't like change so will look at it hard.

Your plants look great, big, for just flipping. I used my blues to help keep them down but 1 plant didn't listen and overtook the rest.

We had a smart meter put in a few years back, We don't notice any changes, As long as we pay our bills on time there's no reason for them to look into us. We do get notices we are double our neighbors power consumption and they give us advice on how to keep the KW down...lol, They know not about my growing. I could be a potter and need a kiln on who are they to know whats up.

Also have a smart meter installed few years ago all it does is save the hydro company from paying someone to read meters. My water meter is also a smart meter. With the hydro smart meter i can log into my account and check my daily usage weekly monthly shows actual cost per day.

Ya, they are big but had to wait up on the two plants that had to catch up to the others. It was a cluster f grow right from the get go.
Soil I prepared was too rich for the young plants and either killed them or locked em up.
Had to germ and plant some all over again like deja vue.
Only plant to survive the first wave was Sun Daze Haze, It's prob 9 wks old haha, the others vary @ 6-7 weeks.
I held off cause I wanted the new plants to get rooted pretty good.
I defoiled a bit last night before hooking up the sides.
I see a lot of LST in thier future.

I guess ya can't fight the future haha good to know about your experience with the smart meter.
There is a lot of bs out there and it's hard to filter out what's what.

They can also cut off the power remotely now. We got a notice they are rolling out the newest smart meters in February. They say the last ones are outdated now but others are saying they also had issues.

Week One in Flower mode and plants are doing pretty good!

Light is at 95% power and will increase to 100% in a few days.
Looking for signs of light stress and see none for now.
Lux is between 53k - 59k Leaf temp = 76-77 f
I've got the reds moved over the smallest plants but I'm near to shutting them down.

The double pot plant, White Truffles x 2, are doing well in the XXL 6.9g pot.
They are not seperated by anything and one is 2 weeks behind the other.
I try to keep them apart as much as possible with garden sticks and foliage removal.
Giving the little one as much chance as I can to catch up to big sister.
They are the best ones growing so far.

The Sun Daze Haze is doing great and starting to stretch.

Tangi Dream is struggling and so are my other 2 (AHLJ & Runtz) that are 2 weeks behind.

Runtz n AHLJ are on the same feed line and feeder tank #2, not sure what the problem is cause they are
not taking in water. The tank rez isn't moving.

I checked the lines and valves today. One was suspect so I fiddled with it and brought
in some more water, to make sure the line flowed and it did and I could feel the cooler water
coming in to the very warm tray water. The water was low in that tray too.
The other was fine and full and water was cool to the touch.
So hope it clears itself up.

Tank #1 is gulping 2 gallons a day! There are 3 pots on that line and one is the XXL.
I need a bigger tank, lol.

Hey plants look great that's a lot of green, Very nice to have that large green space open like that, tents are so confining you can't get in there and work with them. You're making me rethink my space. Now with a dividing wall my 5x5 isn't really needed tent. I'll stick with what I have now but If the tent fails I think I'll just reconfigure my space rather than buy a new tent.

With your measurements there of 6/6/6/5 I hope you are adding the 5 to your mix first ..if 5 is Cal/mag It goes first Micro 2nd to mix or It doesn't mix properly and you'll see separation in your liquids......I also use Diamond Nectar at 4 ml/gal all through my grow except first feed of 2/2/2/2. and after 2nd week in flower the KoolBloom liquid up to 5ml/gal 2-6 weeks then I drop the liquid and start their KBdry weeks 6-8 maybe to 9 if they are still sucking water. at 1/4tsp/gal only too much causes too much stress.

Maybe struggling because of low temp??? I've just been watching some vids on that lately, warmer up to mid 80's through veg then cooling off through flower to mid 70's with lights on. Could they be catching a draft? cool soil or pots? Just ball parking. I watch vids think I know shit...lol

Temps in the room are a steady 82-84 I do have some passive air coming in from a 4" duct to outside but don't think that is it.
Room is sealed in pretty good so no drafts either. They might have locked up, to strong a mix for them? idk
I'll check the tank tomorrow morning to see if it has moved down.
The plants show no signs of stress or nothing to idicate anything is wrong, except slow growth and nada water intake.

I'm assuming your recipe formula is say 6/6/6/8 = Micro, Grow, Bloom, Mag Pro in that order but you add MP first.
Oh my, didn't know to add the CM first, not last but it seemed ok and I have a timed mixer in the tank.
Was not sure about adding the Diamond Nectar and KB liquid and thought I was adding it to soon. haha
I can throw a couple of extra shots in there to top it off.

I need a dif way to hang those Sidelights.
I have to crawl under the "cage" to do anything.
It's a big pain in the a** and I'm too old to be crawling (Hard to get back up lol)
I'll have to move the pots at some point.

Yikes I was doing it wrong but didn't mess up too bad.
CM was first number in the formula and I thought it was the last #
Caught before the #'s change to much.
Only in the 2nd week of flower now.
It's so cold here my eye's froze! haha

Ya its cold here too not as bad as you guys get but were about -4c / 29ish F. Cats don't spend much time outdoors but they do come in wet or with cold feet as they jump up on us to warm up. A big cold streak is coming your way. I use this Zoom map. there are a bunch of different views with temp/humidity & such but this wind one shows us whats coming.

Thanks for the heads up!
I closed the catio a couple of days ago cause of the snow and winds yesterday was so cold, single digits with minus with the wind chill.
Used the snowblower to remove 2 feet of white stuff and shoveled it out 2 more times, dam my hernia hurts.
Today was better so walked with my cart to get water and snacks and got the hernia going again, resting now .
Temp goes down the rest of the week and we get some lake affect too.
More snow on the way too.
We always get that "Frozen Vortex" from you guys haha

We’re getting hit from the west Alberta clipper and the northern polar vortex. So random snow storms and extremely cold temperatures. I’m so done with winter already.

Plants are all feeding and growing.
I have the Reds hung low over the 2 shortest plants.
Maybe that will give them a boost.
I'll wait a couple of days and maybe shut them down.
Not using the UV's this time. They are off the mini crates too.
I tore apart the cage for the sidelights and put them on the pots facing up.
Much better/easier for me.

Light is at 100%
Electric bill went thru the roof!! the highest bill last year was $250
it's already $338 and I'm just starting flower.
Maybe it'll go down now that's it's on a 12/12 cycle.
The light is on at peak hours 8am-8pm, I wonder if night time lights 7pm-7am would be cheaper?
Lucky I'm on a budget plan but it will come back to bite me later on.

Storm on the way along with about 2 feet of snow.
That's on top of over 2 feet from the last couple of snows.
Plus the deep freeze is here withh single digits and minus temps.
Way below normal for us.
Catio is closed untill the temps go back up to at least 40.
It's been blowin and snowin all week.
I had to take down the flag before it bent the pole haha.
