Grump's Dalato Grow 🌱

right?!?! i don't want to be hassled with separating seeds.

i think they were talking about diablo crosses maybe? DI... i don't think that lemon frosting comes from that but i also read about animal cookies herm'ing but i've personally grew animal cookies crosses more than a handful of times with zero issues.

i'm hoping mine was just a one off.. i found it when checking on the dryer box and squeezed a bud and a seed fell out.
 
I just had some herms pop up on some dragons flame regs this past grow but I kept actively hunting and eliminating them and it stopped after a couple weeks. So far looking good I haven't seen any seeds but man herms suck ass. Makes seed in general less desirable for me.

DI is Dante's Inferno.

No sight of any more from a quick glance through the window, today. It's all the time I had.

These plants are TALL. I was NOT expecting this kind of stretch, that's for sure. Even the hermied runt is as tall as the window. The other three stand nearly as tall as me. Probably five foot plants. That's pretty insane considering I flipped them at a foot tall or so.

what i find insane is that that they're that tall and eight legs!!! seeds or no seeds there gonna be stacked AF!!

So my headroom hack wasn't enough. The tallest plant is now 3 inches from the roof of the tent and 4 from the light.

I'm going to go home tonight and cut a big X in the roof of the tent and hang my light from the ceiling. Gotta do what you gotta do, right?

I had no issues with headroom when I scrogged but I didn't want 4 plants in the same net. Neither of my scrogged plants grew over 3 feet tall. There's just one in this bunch that's trying to tickle the top of the tent.

It's a little janky and crooked, but it'll finish this run just fine. I've already planned out how to extend my tent to the ceiling for the next run.

This little AC Infinity heater just can't keep up, surprisingly. Gonna have to go back to the Vornado for the next run. I'm trying to keep 82 and that heater runs nonstop when the lights are out.

I am shocked you need to add heat at all still.
Are you using a chiller for your water?
My room has hit 90 several times in last 2 weeks and is 85 every day without effort.

Yeah these ones really liked the higher temps in Veg so I just tried to keep it. They're some serious eaters too. Res sits at 1370 ppm. Almost double what I've ran in the past. I think the light has really made a difference. It's really pushing them to the max.

They've drank 25 gallons in the last 2 weeks and are about due for another res change. No more changes after lights out, though. The tent's no longer light proof 🤣

Yes on the chiller, and the back room where my lung room's at is Air Conditioned. I shut off the window unit like a month ago, though.

On a real note if it was higher blue leaning they may not have "stretched" as much either, alongside light intensity.

Drop that N ppm if possible.

I already see N tox starting to develop.

Too much Nitrogen will hamper the fuck out of bud production, can make the buds more "leafy" too, amongst other cons.

i also run 86° in flower. in the middle of winter it's all frozen and cold and go downstairs and open those double doors and the sunshine comes pouring out and warms me to the bone!!!!! :D i'll have it no other way!!!
