Grump's Gassy Cream Cake Grow šŸŒ±

These are the directions / tips I received with my very recent Captain Redbeard seed purchase.
I got Oregon Grapes which Granny has grown 3 times.

Thanks for posting that! šŸ„° You are gonna love the OG! I do. Very few make the second grow with me, not saying itā€™s bad, thereā€™s just too much out there. This will be the third time and I see myself keeping this around for a good long while!

I'm seeing some $15/40 options on Amazon Canada
Cool, thanks. I can never find a dozen or less. Iā€™ll never use the big packs.

Not too bad since in the USA I pay the same but get 70 collars.
But you're right about shipping. $15 worth of collars would probably cost $50 to ship it up to Canada from Texas, probably a little less from NY.
Ya, I figured as much. Itā€™s silly just going out of province but crossing the border is a killer.

Neoprene is choice because it deters infections and repels moisture.
Maybe 10 years ago there were size differences between different brands but now everything is 2" diameter across all brands.
The multi color kit is great for separating strains by color coding them.
Cool. I only do 4 at a time. Limits and space. I figure 8-12 just as backup or if I need to clean a set.

But yeah, cloning machines are not just for clones. Seedlings take off like crazy in them and is why I'll be starting sprouts and doing about 10 days in veg using my cloner then planting into soil from now on. VG to clone machine is the fastest and most robust performance I've ever seen starting a new grow.
Did a test run on this grow so now I'm making the wholesale switch because it was so dang fast and the young sprouts absolutely loved it compared to traditional ways of starting in soil from the start or using plugs/rockwool or anything else along those lines.
In hydro it's even easier. Start in a cloner for veg and flower in DWC
Thatā€™s something to consider. Iā€™ll watch your posts. See what I can copy. Going to be in soil a long time still I expect.

I soak for 24 hours in a fifty fifty mix of water and 3% peroxide, and then plant them in the soil. I do it to all of my seeds regardless of strain.
Iā€™m same .i usually donā€™t like going over 24 hrs but sometimes thereā€™s stubborn ones that donā€™t show there tail.Iā€™ll usually change the water if I go over..
you are right obs . it will drown them ..Iā€™ve never had no brain damaged plants yet ā˜ŗļø..well afaik they havnt šŸ˜€.usually once they sink you know they have cracked so you can sow them..i wait till I see a little tail then plant šŸ™ƒ.after all we are upside down down here in backwards flushing country.
