Acedic acid is deadly to the plants also so be carefulIve read vinegar will kill them instantly but that shit stinks lol. Dietamtious Earth or micronized sulfur would do it too.
Go get 'em Franksta!!!bug problems please I was up at five am shooting up a horde of raccoons trying to kill my cats
The biggest one lunged at me with claws and teeth
sounds good, anything 2birds-1stoneOn a little side note I think citric acid if it's balanced correctly and used in millimolar amounts or even salicylic acid can be effective against insects and still be useful to the plants also
ive read about it briefly and the few methods of making youre own, ive yet to get on it, triacontanol and silica +base nutrients will be looking pretty good there, then down the line get even more specific into the chemistry, and playing around with hormonesI think the best one personally is using the tricontonal or however it's spelled the bee's wax carbon chain fatty acid plant hormone. Have too cook it like a crack rock to make it soluble
thats what i read about the cider vinegarThis dissolve insect exoskeleton I think, and beneficial to the early flowering especially
good to hear from yaBeating back insects or pathogens should always be a multi prong approach IMO
pH targeting and plant vigor are especially important here
Sure can. A lot of people find it difficult to root clones in rockwool because they hold too much water. Same for seedlings. Need to keep them on the very dry side at first. Small feedings from the bottom only when they're lightweight, otherwise the roots don't explore or worse, can rot.Did not know/think one could overwater rockwool, even in the beginning stages lol?
Hmmfph
Glad it's not JUST me, lol, figuring that out, I've had 0 clone success in the wool so far, leaning towards too wet.Sure can. Take the rope hangers off.Now I don't have annoying fan blocking the light height, was attempting to get the lights closer to the top.
Will have to use wires and take em off the
Those carabineers will work perfectly perhaps, I was taking the ratchets off and trying to put the lights through the metal brackets but a an inch or two too tight on the driver up top and said fuck it.Take the rope hangers off.
Then tqke the metal brackets and use them as mounting hooks. Or use those giant caribeaner clips vipar sent. Thats how i have my xs hanging. Lol
Rearranged the fan from the top to the bottom, seems to help keep RH and temp in line betterHanging lights can be a challenge, but the tents serve a purpose as our controlable Microclimate. Misspell every where, SS
Ah I just don't have enough carabineers or the big ones Atleast, probably just use the plant wire I got recently and put it through the holesTake the rope hangers off.

Yeah anything needs oxygen to the roots somehow brother. Oxygen at the roots is equally important as the moisture itselfDid not know/think one could overwater rockwool, even in the beginning stages lol?

Having hanging LED with adjustable hanger is really useful for optimal penetration and then using the dials to get the intensity correctHanging lights can be a challenge, but the tents serve a purpose as our controlable Microclimate. Misspell every where, SS
Interesting.Glad it's not JUST me, lol, figuring that out, I've had 0 clone success in the wool so far, leaning towards too wet.
Now I know, I'll start allowing for more of a dry back and not being so anal/worried if they dry too much, and probably need to turn the auto-water off or have it do even less, till i get something established.
Thanks man.
I like the wool, I'll get it down soon.
I could fill the tents up all year long with coco and let em go, but that gets boring.
Like to learn.
Liking that I don't have "dirt" everywhere and so much space for soil/media, get more out of less.
That balance seems to be very "fine" in RW.Yeah anything needs oxygen to the roots somehow brother. Oxygen at the roots is equally important as the moisture itself
Putting a fan or air flow into the base of everything is helpful as well cause your creating new contact with the roots at a cellular level
But the caveat then becomes keeping it moist, lol thus the equilibrium to be maintained at the roots level regardless of methods used
Yeah cause it's really absorbed well and almost complete hydration is possibleThat balance seems to be very "fine" in RW.
I definitely gotta keep things drier, figuring I'm over-watering.I guess what I'm saying here is there's a lot of ways to keep oxygen at the roots but specifically from a cloning standpoint I've always had the best luck with keeping it on the drier side
I would love to make my own hydroponic cloner, just need a few more things and I got the stuff for it basicallyHydroponic cloners work well also if it's maintenance is correct
Really starting to see/learn thatYeah anything needs oxygen to the roots somehow brother. Oxygen at the roots is equally important as the moisture itself
Those strainers look better than the cups on a drip type system like that imo. Might consider opening up the bottoms of those cups and maybe use some pointed scissors or something if they lag behind the more open onesStarting some, healing/recovering some.
Broke one in half so it's laying on floor staying straight healing, knocked a cup on top of it lol
