You have any major snow to deal with?

We only had a few inches that took most of the day to fall. Then sun which melted where we shovelled. By 8pm it was back to -9* and felt real cold from all the moisture.

Hey, Gday, yes we got hit with about 1 ft of fresh snow, light enough to move easily. I shoveled my walk way down here 4 times yesterday, I'd shovel down then shovel back up so this am I only had a 3-4 inches to move.

Ya that space ship looks like it fell over, why the fk would they lie about that? We could see it fall yet Ai says no it was a successful landing......wtf.....there is no truth any longer, everything has to be slanted to fit an agenda, what ever that is.

I'm going to flip my Strawberry Purps clones this weekend in my 3x3. Shes big enough and well spread out, I'll let my sprouts go another month or so before I flip them, I'll move to my 5x5 . I'll take a few cuts this time and keep both strains going another grow or 2. I still have some rearranging to do with my lights I want to put the green light over head instead of the back wall , double up my side lighting and install my SF600 at the back for additional side lighting at the back of my tent adding another 74watts to my lighting 2-fc 4000-EVO's =640w 2 Blue 450nm Booster Bars 60w Green booster bar =12 w Spiderfarmer far reds 40w, Ion beam side lights = 40 w 3 Rapid led far red booster pucks 27 w ========= 893w lighting in a 5x5, actually a 4x5 I don't use the front foot = 41.3w / sq/ft with all lights on at max without far reds on......good talk...now I know...

Nice! I still try to pop seeds in winter once in a while but get a high fail rate so tend to stick to clones until March/April.

Glad you had a few you liked enough to clone.

Isn’t this weekend the spring forward part of daylight savings? I think I heard BC is locking down to permanently stick with it. We’d need NY and Quebec to do it before Ontario would join in.

Don’t forget to check out the Blood Moon eclipse this morning. I’ve only seen a peek and red clouds.

I’ve done that, when I was 14! You don’t just blindly grab a snake.

At least now I know if I ever did get bit NOT to get medical attention. I’m over 60, not worth my family losing the house over my stupidity.

I'm flipping my Strawberry Purps clones tonight. I have my 5x5 all set up with all lights working when I need then to. I centered my Green light between the 2 Blue, I mounted my sf600 on the back wall and rearranged my Ion beam side lights to have 2 on each side.

I'm having some trouble keeping temperature & humidity stable in both tents, I came down this am and my 3x3 was at 92%, at 29f tent walls were wet, leaves wet wet. It looked like it wasn't exhausting the air...I made sure the fans were both working and cleaned up the water that built upon the floor, its at 66% @ 22F now, still some adjusting to do.

Too bad they were able to get out. Smash and grabs have been on the ride since Covid but haven’t heard much lately.

Plants look great already. I’ve screwed up mine already. Maybe mucked up the feed mix when I transplanted. We’ll see if I can fix it.

You getting any of this warmer weather? It was 7* in the shade yesterday and I hear double digits on Saturday!

But I know Mother Nature isn’t done with us yet. We’ll get that “out like a lion” thing in a few weeks.

We got a blast of snow 2 nights ago, woke up to a leak in our bathroom. Snow has accumulated on the roof, melted to the edge and froze. There was about 6" of solid ice all around our roofs edge and it backed up under the shingles over the bathroom. I got out a shovel and cleared the area around where it was leaking and smashed some ice away so there was a path for run off. Yesterday it got up to 10c and melted most of it away. Now we have stains on our bathroom ceiling and water bubbles or whats left of them. I think we're supposed to get a bit more snow tonight/tommorow then warm weather after that.

I see you had a nice haul with your last crop and by the look of those jars you're well stocked. I've just smoked the last of my last crop. The stuff doesn't last long around me, about 10 joints a day cuts into my supply, fast.

We got another blast of snow last night, about an inch but by noon most had melted away. Cold overnight though still into minus numbers.

My plants are perking up after a disastrous transplanting session. I musta been stoned cause I fked up on each pot, If they'd have been auto's I would have lost a crop. Luckily being photo's its just a bump in the road and they look back on track.

My Strawberry Purps clones are doing great, I flipped her a week ago and she's coming along nicely I'm going to need some side lighting in my 3x3 soon if not already because she's a bushy girl that needs all the light she can get

Woke up late, dark, cloudy and raining hard, temps gone up to 14c and most of the snow is gone, For some reason I got energetic, my clone is very big and was in need of more light penetrating through her. I have 2 spare SE3000, 1, I'd cut in half and used it as an end piece over the 2 other se3000 but after going with 2 FC4000-evo's and booster bars in my 5x5 I just stored my 2 se's. Brain fart, I can use 2 of the bars off the cut in half se3000 at 75w each as side lights.

So I got to finagling and came up with 2 -35" shelf supports an 2 pieces of 4" long dowel I drilled through and bolted to the metal support bars I ty wrapped the se plastic hangers to the dowel and have my side lights I just needed a bit of wire and connectors . My only concern was power, that's another 150 w ( at full power) on my lighting load but it held. It really looks good and lit up the whole plant now

This twin Strawberry Purps clone looks more like the plants I used to grow because I used to veg for so long, 2months + most of the time because I was cloning and flipping moms. I'm trying to clean a space to get back to that again. I'd like to get clones off my next flowering batch but timing is everything. If I take them now they'll be too big before I have space, If I wait much longer my vegging plants will out grow my 5x5,a stoners conundrum

I’m always out growing my tent. Fix a deficiency and now they are too big.

I turned down my lights the other day. I’m pretty sure it’s been the problem with my colour issues. Now that they are in the new pots of soil I’m hoping they recover by mid April to flip.

Its still a rats nest and my clones are all dead...lol.... I let them dry out and cooked them, 1 still has some life but barely...alls good I have a bunch of new seeds I want to try out from Capt Red Beard, via Granny.

My crop in the 5x5 is doing well I flipped them a week ago and they are filling in nicely, they are drinking a lot and I seemed to have fixed the calcium problem on 1 Bubba Mac n Cheese, back left you can see the leaf marks on some lower leaves in pic. Shes still a bit faded but much better than she was. My feed now is 5/6/6/6/4/ml/gal of Cal/mag/Micro/Grow/Bloom/Diamond Nectar.

My 3x3 with twin Strawberry Purps clones are doing well, a lot of buds everywhere, none will be large but with the lower lights they should be smoke able. I thinned her out some but back center is a mess I can't really get to. I googled about using only 2 side lights on the 1 driver made for 4 lights and alls good as long as I only use up to half power, Full power I'll cook them. When I get this plant out I'll wire up a 3rd bar at the back.

I guess its a holiday this weekend so we gotta do a Costco run today, a 35-45 min drive in 1/2 hr shop and 35-45 min drive home. Non stop with just 2 stop lights right at the mall. A coffee at Star Bucks or Second Cup for the drive home...an outing...lol...shopping or Drs, exciting life these old boomers have

The Bubba Mac n Cheese I was having leaf issues with I defoliated a bit and used some red clips to bent her over to be closer in height as the rest. The stalk is still very flexible 1 week into flower so the clips went on easily

I’ve got to have a look at mine. Bend a few, trim a few, try to get them uniform again. Colors much better but still a bit off on a couple.

Mine look like they went through a defoliation. Which is okay if they get back to it now.

Watching the red led it’s hard to say if it’s helping or not. They have only been watered once after the bump up to the 3 gallon pots. Roots are probably just finding the nutes now. The 7 gallon pots should need watering today or tomorrow.

After a few wet and cold damp days it’s 22.6* in the shade today at 3:30pm.

Why do they even bother with the seven day if they can’t get it right even a few hours later?

Sorry to hear you lost the clones but glad it’s not a big deal and you have plan B already in action.

I’ve got to start planning out the vegetable garden and see if my sons going to grow after this run.
