I think my heat's been on this June more than it was back in 2023, the spring where it rained 26 out of 28 days!

I'm guessing you're having fairly similar weather 😕

Hey, good day, Yes we haven't had many nice days yet, although were at 3 days in a row now no rain, even some sun yesterday and today...its almost like Spring ...1 week before Summer. The heat is still on in my tent and the furnace still runs at night. Alls good for my grows though, I can manage these temps, RH is a pain though fken dehues running full time again just to stay in the low 60's. I'm 2 weeks into flower and I'm trying to get the RH into the 50's.....42% at my desk top, 62% in the tent

The girls are looking good! I'm following along with all these different lights you're using, it's interesting to see the results

Same here with the weather, the humidity is in the low 60s overnight but it dropped to 56% when the sun came out a while ago. We're having upper 40's temperatures overnight still

My vegetable garden's just sitting there 😕 I used that weed block plastic for the first time this year and it's already saved me hours of labor weeding🍾, but it's not growing! 🤷🏻

I imagine it will take off when the hot sunny weather finally hits, I'm already getting some jalapenos forming, don't have much this year just tomatoes, jalapenos and a couple of Italian herbs in the one Garden

Have a great Sunday, it's nice and sunny here so I'm going to go sit out and read the paper!

My wife has some stuff in outside pots but nothing much is coming up. 10c this am only about 16c now. I spend so much time in my workshop I don't see the sun some days much at all, specially winter and it becomes a habit, winter is so long. I'm a bit of a mole anyways.

I had to shut off the red at lights out, I was hoping the blues would counteract the reds but after just one week they've stretched 2 feet at least some more. All I've noticed unusual is 2 plants went to flower fast and had small buds at 10 days 3-4 days faster that the rest.

I'm running the Blues with my other lights at 100% my Green at 100% and my FC4000-EVO's about 80% with about 57,000 lux across the tops of the canopy. I could max the light to about 70,000 at 13" but my leaves are happy as is.June 15 crop.JPGJune 15 group 2b.JPGJune 15 group1a.JPG

My plants are growing very well they've jumped a lot over the last week. I'm running Blues and the Green with lights on and reds 15 min at lights out. They're 2 weeks into flower tomorrow.

I've shut the light off on my try at revegging, nothing has moved and it looks worse every day so 2 days ago I shut the light off.

I finely got all the parts I needed for the water filter I bought a while back. I hope it works better than the golf filters. Its water tight but the tap is so high up I need a gallon or more in the res just to reach the outlet. I'll put in a brick or something cleaner to take up some spaceView attachment 105212View attachment 105213View attachment 105214View attachment 105215
You can just use a jug or anything plastic with a lid. Fill it with rocks or sand. Don’t have to worry about bio bugs in the rocks or brick this way.

Good thinking, I can do that, I forgot the project when out today or I'd of picked up a scrap brick at a cement casting place just up the road a bit , then wrapped before sticking in a plastic zip lock....How dumb Bottle with rocks, sand gravel does the job...:cool::cool:

We shut it off again in May. Enough was enough. An extra blanket was enough.
I'm in a basement 8 ft under ground, solid cement walls, Its almost always cool down here but when it gets hot it gets humid. I have a good air exchange system but it can still get a moldy smell if I don'[t run dehues full time.....Then there's the autopots...lol they're bad enough without my basement humidity problems but I some how manage

If I had been smart I’d have said fill bottles with water. 🤦

Ya mines bad but not as bad as yours, most of the time.

We need rain this week. Two rain barrels are empty already. None of this 1-3mm crap. Weekly would be nice. 🤣

Then they'd float. I want them on the bottom, like a rock taking up space.
My friend you must still be a bit foggy too. 😂 I was like…why did I say sand or rocks when clean water is easy and safer?

Only trapped air will make it float. You fill a water bottle and put it in it will sink and displace that much water raising the level. Take off any paper advertisements first and fill to the top. Use as many bottles as needed.

If you don’t trust me try it in your sink or back of the toilet first. They might move if there is a current but they shouldn’t float.

My plants are just over 3 weeks in flower, some stretched too much for me again and I laid a few taller ones down just before they touched the lights. I'm still running Blues and Green. The plants at the back have more influence from the blues and are shorter because of them. There's a line between front and back where I have my blue lights mounted.

The Grape Skunk is a stand out already the purple is strong in these.

Full feed now is 5/3/3/8/5/4/1. I went through 6 gal in one day after defoliating, I've added 12 gal to my res in 2 days. I'm still have humidity issues, tent is at 62% desk top at 37%...2 dehues running full time.

Its hot today 32C already and with high humidity its a bit sticky. June 23 Grape Skunk 2.JPGJune 23 Grape Skunk.JPGJune 23 Group 1.JPGJune 23 group 2.JPGJune 23 Group.JPG

Its warmed up here considerably, so much so I have my chiller back in use. It took a while to clean the pump and chiller. I thought I'd done that when I shut all off but after drying last fall there was a lot of floating debris after a run through of water 2 days ago. All's good now I've 2 good filters and they're running clean.

After doing that I forgot to turn on my res I came in this morning and shook my tank..wtf still full I look into my tent and plants were drooping a bit wtf ...yep didn't turn the valve back on. Alls good they're up and fine after just a couple of hours. I find it odd that a guy like me could forget something so simple....oh wait..lol

On our Costco run the other day we walked past a floor fan on for $59, reg $89....Deal right...with all that's going on in costco with other fans blowing we didn't notice how loud these things are but what a wind, can't really take it much above low speed a 1/5th H motor I think it would knock a cat off its feet on full speed.

My plants are doing well, I was trimming off some plants earlier today and pulled a few lower buds off the Rainbow Slurricane and gave it a whiff, I was blown away. I don't usually get excited about what I grow but I've never smelled anything so sweet. I'm bad with taste and recognition of flavour but bubble gum and citrus hit strong. I couldn't stop sniffing my fingers. Cats hated it, after trimming I went for coffee and the boys come up to me and I give them a pat but Qnight bolted as soon as I reached my hand towards him, the other 2 just stood up straight and backed away slowly....lol

Those fans are amazing! We used to put them on or even underneath wet carpet when I worked for ServePro, leave them overnight and 12 hours later everything was dry as a martini 🍸🐸 Good price too!

It's been a bit since my last update, Hermies, All seeded from a fkin light in a plug in hydrometer in front of my tent. ARRRRRRGGG. always some fk up along the way. Every plant has visible seeds and squashing lowers show all seeds. I still have to finish them off for what ever I can get out of them. Fk I had some nice strains going great until doom...

I dropped 3 more strains 2 Alaska Thunderfuck, 4 Zamals dreams and 2 more Grape Skunk. They are sitting in paper towels today.

We're taking a trip to Vegas and Laughlin. Renting a car and driving to Laughlin for 2 nights at the Aquarius, then back to Vegas for 2 nights at The Plaza'

Seeing as I won't have a supply I'd been inquiring about smoking in Vegas. It's only legal to smoking in private residences or the few lounges that allow it so tourists are left out. Everyone says you smell it everywhere but if its not legal I don't want to be out smoking a fatty thinking all's good.

Then someone mentioned disposable vapes. I'm like what????? so I looked at my local legal store $57 liquid diamond 1 gram. I guess I bought gold, Wow nice sht. I'm hooked, 1 gram lasted 2 days so I bought another version 6 gram in the grey market for $70 a Heisenberg extractions dual flavor Grape and Rockstar disposable vape1752709061892.png

I know what you mean bud. I’m down to two female GDP autos. Half my crop gone just because they happened to be male.

Ah well, that’s why we keep jars tucked away right? 😝

Few more days you’ll be lying on a beach drunk and buzzed. Then wake up and realize there is no lake just a fountain. 🤣

Hope the rest of the grow and your trip goes well. 👊

I don't keep a supply I smoke & turn to gummy's all I grow. I have to conserve...not my favorite word. Just 2 nights in Vegas now were going to go 100mile south to Laughlin for 2 nights. We were there 30 odd years ago and its Hot about 15f hotter than Vegas on average right on the Colorado river, We can dip in the river on a beach at the hotel.1752866471660.jpeg1752866342986.jpeg1752866149505.png

Wow, sounds like a real fun trip!
Yes I hope so, The desert is exotic to me, I haven't spent near enough time in them. I've been to Vegas 6-7 times and each time I like to get out in the desert where it's hot and dry, the exact opposite of where I live. We get hot here for 2 months with the low humidity being about 65%.

We'll do a loop from Vegas to Laughlin - Kingman Arizona for lunch then back up to Vegas. Its 107f at 6% in Laughlin now.
trip to focus on. I planted 6 new sprouts yesterday, all heads up above ground today. I had 2 more seeds dropped but neither has popped as yet. Alaska Thunderfuck are a few years old, I'll give them 1 more day then if they haven't popped I just stay with what I have up already.

That's how I felt when we lived in Bakersfield Cali, it was like we went to another world, very deserty, lots of sand and heat. haha.
No one came out of their house till after 8pm cause of the glaring sun and oppressive heat (95f-110f) with absolutley no clouds.
I felt like a ant under a magnifiying glass when I went out in the afternoon.
I felt the same way when we lived in Orlando, Fla too but it was the oppressive humidity there.

What made you decide to make that round about trip to Laughlin and Kingman? You could eat in Vegas.
Something interesting at those places? I looked on the google map, Kingsman seems like a quaint town.
One day I would like to go to some of those National Parks.
We skipped them when we traveled by car to Cali.

Laughlin is a slower smaller Vegas & a lot less expensive. We were down there 30+ years ago and liked it. When I booked air to Las Vegas I wasn't going to rent a car, then I realized how much cabs would cost and its cheaper to rent a car. Then once I accepted that I thought 4 days in Vegas a bit too much so I thought Lake Havasu but its too far to get to and back so Laughlin it is.

The only reason for Kingman is an alternate route back to Vegas from Laughlin. We've been through there a couple of times and each time we've stopped for lunch so its kinda in the right place for that again after we check out of the hotel. We'll have 6 hrs before we can check in to the Plaza so a little touring around is in order. Then drive back past the Hoover dam & Boulder city on the way back into town.

No better place to desert than on the outskirts of the Mojave!
Really interesting part of the country you'll be in there.
Barstow/Ft.Irwin/NTC is out a little west of you. I've spent more of my life there than I'd like doing desert training for the Army.
Pretty much a couple decades of practice to invade Iraq and oust Saddam Hussein went down out there from the early 90s until we actually went in an invaded after 9/11. I was there from 91-93.
Seen a few 120 days out there. The rough part is spending all day in the 110s then at night it drops to 75ish but being like almost a 40 degree drop, feels like it's freezing. I remember shivering at night being worse than sweating during the day sometimes.

You'll do much better gaming in towns like that than in Vegas. Henderson is also great for gaming while Vegas wants to take your life savings as soon as you sit down

Yes we've never won in Vegas, We have in Reno though. From Vancouver we could fly to Reno and Back for $99 and $99 for 3 or 4 nights..Mon-Thur or Fri-Sun. We hit all 5 -"7's" on a Hot 7 game for $700 in a small casino the day before we left then made another $100 playing video poker, That was back in the 80's and we were like rich at that point. We landed back home with a few more dollars than we left with, It made the trip almost free. There are no flights from here to Reno, I looked. I could get there but there are no deals. I liked it up there a lot. lots of cool places to go that are an easy drive, Tahoe, Pyramid lake, Virginia City where they still had penny slots.

I like it hot because I can get relief from the excessive heat with a cold beer in a casino while on vacation, I don't think I'd like it much working in it. The poor fkers working in construction I don't envy, I can't imagine hauling wire or pipe up flights of stairs in that heat, there wouldn't be many fat folks working construction sites like up here,

I found a drive up through the mountains I'd like to take but I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to take an unproven rental out into the desert mountains. Christmas tree pass looks easy enough to drive but heat, altitude air conditioning on at 115f through a dirt road mountain pass might be sketchy not knowing whats out there mid day in Aug with no one else on the road1753022789587.png

I’m all into exploring, that’s my main reason for travelling these days. But I really hope that the information station has a well under it. 🤣

I read somewhere that a lot of car rental companies won't allow dirt road driving. I looked at Sixt policy and there's nothing specific I can find, It says no off road driving but dirt roads are...roads. I'm still responsible for damage on or off.

I took a spill on my bike and whacked my head hard on a rock after a fall 2 days ago and I'm not sure if I've done any damage. I can still feel it and it makes me unsure if I should see a Dr. or not. Emergency is out, there's no way I'm sitting in emergency for 12 hrs to be looked at and a Dr. appointment would be weeks away. I'm not seeing symptoms, no real headache just a spot I can feel on the inside lightly pulsing where I whacked it. If it wasn't a brain hit and being 73 it wouldn't be an issue. I'm saying this as somehow I feel off a bit. I read I'm supposed to rest no exercise no booze or drugs......lol...all four of those rules have been broken and now I'm wondering if that was such a good idea...

I don't have nice plants to help yet, my seeded crop is being ignored, I'm still feeding but I refuse to look at them. I'll just glance at them sideways as I pass the tent to get to my 3x3 with all 8 up and growing. 4 Zamal Dreams, 2 Alaska Thunderfuck, 2 Grape Skunk, all fems

Good luck getting your head back right again man. No joke there.
We see a ton of concussions in my line of work even with the best helmet technology on the planet. Dark and quiet spaces help. Wearing sunglasses indoors and out helps. Yeah no booze at all and no stress or strenuous activity for about 3 days to 2 weeks depending on severity is what we do for our kids in concussion protocol.

You'll be fine driving on dirt roads. Off road means truly off road or overland driving. Like the shit for Jeeps and Landrovers to go where there are no roads and just driving thru the desert or in the dunes.
There's places to rent those vehicles and even dune buggies for a few hours of off road fun but I wouldn't take an airport rental off road unless I knew it was fully covered.
Depends on the rental as well but take pics and note any damage, even the smallest shit before leaving the lot and let them know. It's a racket to get people who just hop in and go to pay for old damages. Do that and along with full coverage you should be able to turn that ride in beat to shit with the odometer rolled over and not have to pay for it.

You're almost gonna have Vegas and Nevada all to yourself! Seeing videos of an almost empty Vegas making people worry in the past couple weeks.
My nephew lives in Vegas and may move back to California since it's gone dead. Foreign tourism is way down with the extra fees about to be set and with harsh customs and immigration we're doing some pretty fucked up things to tourists with detainment and hassles over passports and visas. We're doing the detain now and prove they're here legally later routine. Make sure your papers are in order buddy!

Man I’m bad for not going to the doctor but a bump like that needs attention. Even flying can be an issue after a head injury.

Play the old wounded man at a hospital or clinic. Get seen faster. Just don’t go as far as seeming senile, you might just get locked up in the phsyc ward. 😝

But seriously get checked. Temple hits can be serious and you might have a concussion. Wifey doesn’t need you in a coma one morning.

Hey thanks for the concern, I'll call Dr tomorrow, Google say see a Dr immediately but they don't live here. I feel fine and I've not changed my habits one bit but I do feel a touch off on the right side of my head. It could be psychosis, I hit my head I should have a headache so I do. Not sure its a real feeling or a mental one. If it was my elbow I'd ignore it as a bruise but I keep getting a light throb at the impact site.....Awe I'm just whining a little head bump should be fine. lol...famous last words...??? ouch lets hope not I've got Vegas coming up I can't lose the old marble yet
