Aug 24, yesterday was my 73 rd birthday. No parties for this one, Vegas was our party. We got a phone call from Dr. office Wed, they had a cancellation Would my wife like to have her corneal eye transplant done? ....ah?? okay...when? tomorrow morning 6:30am? ah okay??? you need to be here 1 hr early.....ah...okay...a 1.5 hr drive...5:30 = 4:00 am start??...Okay.....

So after surgery she has to lay flat...a 1.5 hr drive home then flat and return tomorrow for follow up.??...okay 7 am...quick follow up alls good lay flat for 2 more days, see you Tuesday. Lay flat as much as possible no more than 20 min up per hr...eye drops every 4 hrs. They don;t prep us for this disruption and wtf is with 6:30 am for folks that live out in the country. Ah well we hope she can see better after its all done......then the other eye needs the same after left eye heals.

My plants are doing great, I transplanted them into the Autopots and moved them into my 5x5. I set them at about 25,000 lux across the canopy and I have my blue booster bars running at 100%.pics to come. I hooked up the air lines and res and turned the pots on. I filled my res with 6 gal of 3/3/3ml/gal( M.G.B) /1tsp Epsom salts and 1/2 ml of Rapid start/gal. 15 min later I check and pot 4 had a valve blockage with my pot socks and flooded my tent. problem fixed add 6 more gal nutes.

I'm trying to bag my last harvest and its really sad, full off seeds I mean full of seeds. I took 3 nice looking buds offa Grape Skunk along with a smaller top. I crumbled to smoke and threw it all away, all seeds and seed shells pics to follow...

1 plant an Ice cream cake is frosty and is smokeable with very few seeds but seeds none the less. I still have 4 to bag up but all I see is cooking material.

I had one of those on my left eye a few years ago and although I am a chicken chit, I went through with it.
It was a breeze. It went pretty fast and I was high as a kite when I left the facility.
Had some pain later, they would not give me anything for, so got some from the street. (It was before they started putting fen in everything.)
In the end I could see much better, so much better, it changed my life.
Still, I was too much a chicken to get the right one done, still blind in that eye.
He did it pro-bono, I think cause once I got dizzy and fell in his office after a visit.
Was walking out of the exam room and poof, passed right out. I didn't sue him lol.
I guess I don't like Doctor's poking around my eyeball.👁️

Pics taken last night 28 days old from breaking ground. All doing well. It looks like a leaf or 2 had some ph problems but it seems to be accepting it all now. I sucked a couple of leaves into my wet vac, chewed them up pretty good but they're still hanging on, looks like cats have been at them. I haven't topped at all yet, not sure I will this run, I may just bend them over. My plan is to Flip Sept 1st topped or not.

Up early this am, shoulder pain had me restless. I came down to smoke one for relief 6am and my lights were not on...now WTF...it looks like I've been running 12/12 the last 2 weeks since I moved everything into my flower tent....sigh...This old age stuff is getting old fast. It doesn't look like there's any issues with my plants but dam I gotta get on this stuff sooner. I had intended on flipping to 12/12 Sunday. Now I'm not sure what to do, leave at 12/12 or go back to 18/6 for 2 days? then go back to 12/12???
Plants look good, still waking up and hanging a bit but I guess they should stay at 12/12. Its been a full 2 weeks at least since they were moved. I just topped 1 of the Grape Skunksaug 29 group.JPG

Yes I will keep 12/12, issue #2 this am, My plants were hanging a bit this am...I figure just waking up....I checked my res to see how much I have left....still full...wtf?....I cleaned the filter yesterday and forgot to turn the valve back on.....another heavy sigh

Thanks, for that. I don't do birthdays either. I'll mention it after its over but my wife and I don't celebrate over it. As I got older I didn't want any fuss over me so I've kept the day quiet. I'll celebrate 100 if I make it but the rest are just meh, another day and it just pisses me off I'm getting so old, so fast.

Thanks, I'll post pics in a bit. My girls broke ground July 29th. I'm 2 weeks into flower already at 5 weeks + 2 days old. I'm not far enough into my feed plan to be feeding flower nutes. I also seem to have a calcium deficiency already because I haven't added Cal/mag yet. I don't normally add until week 3 of flower but I see signs its needed already with fading fan leaves. I think these photo's being flipped at 2 weeks old will beat most auto's to harvest. My plants are definitely smaller than I normally grow them but I'm thinking they'll do just fine once I get their feed right.

I'm the same as you. I never cared about celebrating my birthdays. My wife loves a good party though. I reached a milestone birthday last year (50) and my wife got pissed that i refused any sort of grand celebration. A typical Friday night with our friends is celebration enough. There's always enough food, music and laughs.

Had two buddies into punk in my late teens early twenties. Like most music I can listen to it but I wouldn’t buy it. Pink Floyd was punk but I considered them more rock.

A few others were/are into Metallica and other heavy metal bands. Again, nothing id turn off but I never got really into it like the did.

Funny to watch either group dance in a pit. More like battling through a Walmart on Black Friday then dancing. 🤣😂😝

That Qnight on the well pipe, Coal up front Dusk...y back right

So our Clothes washer went down again, I can fix that says I. I took the back off and removed the inlet valve that was the issue the last time. I googled the part and ordered off amzon...All fixed except for the leaks. 2 hrs later and a sht load of Teflon tape no more leaks...Washer running. She goes to dry the clothes and the dryer doesn't work...wtf...fuse blown. Out for a 30amp fuse I replace it and now I can't get the fking 4" dryer hose back on the 4" vent. I gave up and moved the dryer next to the door and its venting outside...sometimes I just need another smoke.

Hey, how long did it take you to see right again? Its been close to 3 weeks now and she still can't see very well. No way she could drive now and she could before the operation.

Man, that's a long time ago and I can't remember shit any more, so I asked my wife and she said about 3 month's.
Sounds about right, I know I had to wear an eye patch, like a pirate, for a few weeks.

Then I could finally get glasses, before I could not, cause my eyes were so far off, in opposite directions.

Thanks. I guess 3 weeks is still early then. DR appointment Thursday to look at it. She had the eye patch on for a week then only at night now nothing.I have to give her drops in her eye's 4 times a day. She said for life??? do you take eye drops 4 times a day?

No not for life, I don't use any drops at all but dry eye drops once in a while.
I worried like that too but looking back now it was easy peezy, except for the pain I had and that darn patch I had to wear.
Pain went away after a few days and after awhile, not sure how long that was, I could see much better, I was pretty blind at that point in my life so I was
very happy with my results. Still needed glasses and was happy I could finally get them. After I got them my sight improved so much
I actually got a permit to drive but never took the driving test lol. Wifey did not like my driving skills, after not driving for a couple of decades.

My wife had a cornea transplant and they said she'll need drops in her eyes for ever. At least that's what my wife has interpreted what they said. 2 different drops in the transplant eye and 2 different ones in her other eye. The transplant cornea gets a milky one first that stings her eye then 5 min later a clear one. Her good eye gets a clear drop through the day and a gooey pasty one at night????? I know not I just squirt the juice in when its needed.

last week I added my nutes to my res and after adding I noticed some skim I had churned up so I scooped it out with a strainer through the day as more kept floating up...????...fk it I dumped my res into my mixing pot about 5 gal left and sure as sht there were floaters throughout my mix even after going through a strainer. Something didn't mix right. So I dumped all 5 gal and cleaned everything, then added 9 gal back into to my res and everything is still clear. I have no idea why it went off, I don't normally / ever get those floaters through my mix, temp is good...I don't know why but I don't want it to continue. Its been 2 days now and alls good so wtf?

My plants look good for what looks like 3 weeks into flower with 1 very short Alaska Thunderfuck but the rest have stretch nicely, specially for their age. They broke ground July 29, flipped by accident Aug 19. That 45 day old photo's looking like 3 weeks into flower, that beats some auto's to flowering.

Edit : I think my numbers are off, my dates don't work right in my log. Surprise surprise, I have pics saying Aug 5 at 14 days old July 29th wasn't 14 days earlier. That makes July 20th as ground breaking day, adding 9 more days to their growing turning them 54 days old from breaking ground & 33 days old at flip. Its no wonder I'm having issues growing I can't seem to keep sht straight any longer. Maybe since my head whack? Old age? too much pot? or 1/3 of each?

Ya I remember those milky white drops and the other one too.
But only for a while, some months I think then the other clear one for longer period of time then only the milky one if I feel discomfort or irritation or redness infection.
Now nothing goes into my eyes except for dry eye drops.
I only got the cornea transplant on my left eye but had my glucoma done on both eyes and he replaced something else,
a lense or something on both eyes when he did the glucoma.

I hate to chuckle man but this getting old sucks, all the things we took for granted eh?...Dr appointment's meds, new prescriptions, eat something first, don't have within 30 min of a milk product, rules and sht man. Don't eat grapefruit and go outside I can go on but how the fk am I supposed to remember all the rules? We have a pill for that just don't eat pizza....lol

I know what you mean, I'm trying to fight it, but it's inevitable.

Idk i waited till my 40s to get super active, but I'm trying to push it off a few years. I'm so anti medicine idk what I'm going to do when getting high doesn't do the trick anymore.

Right now I'm going through pain patches on my shoulder like candy... Just need one of them good massages from to get some serious knots out the size of golf balls.

My shoulders started aching this summer and are getting worse by the day. I was active in sports up to mid 40's and then still golfed through my 50's. I played men soft ball until mid 30's as a catcher and threw the ball hard until then. My right shoulder now aches from all that, along with hockey up until i was 45, shoulder hits and what have you have taken a toll. Then there's the thousands of miles cycling and 10.s of thousands of miles on motor cycles that I had accidents with all of them....ya I got me some aches and pains...lol.....no patches though.....tell me more I need some relief at night. What patches can I ask my Dr for when the time comes?
