I'm pulling my plants early so I can clean it up and move on to my next grow, disappointing to say the least but shit happens, I pulled a couple of small lowers and each had 1 seed.....did I say FUCK....lol

No, we decided 3 is enough......it was just a thought experiment....lol........our 3 boys are great together and the most fun we have these days, constant entertainment and affection from them, Qnight has this thing about drawers, he won't leave them shut, he opens them then crawls in behind to nap.....or throws/ pulls everything out he can onto the floor.......3's enough....lol

I have 2 Greesy 2 Frozen Custard 1 Bubba Mac & Cheese, 1 Wedding cake all up and growing well. It'll be another month before I flip them though, I got a late start but they're coming along nicely.

Not sure if next wasn't ready to go to flower a real reason to chop early besides anger.
But IMO not all that early as I am the early bird.8 weeks is reasonable to me.
I think you may enjoy your early harvest and have time to clean up the flower room before next.
Besides the freedom to enjoy your new found hobby.
Lee Valley has some absolutely outrageous tools and hardware.

1 Gruntz came down today ready or not, 9 weeks and far reds should = done. Some amber, not much but too late now she's chopped and being stripped to dry.

Thanks, they smell great and are sticky as fk, it might not be as bad as I think it is, I squeezed a few lower buds with nothing I could find in them and this girl was right next to the Trainwreck I think was the culprit. Not as advanced as I would have liked but I don't there's any point maxing them out time wise to get any more weight or amber out of them if they're full of seeds......3 plants down & 3 to go.Seeded or not that stuff looks fire man.

Yeah i ended up with some seeds this run too. All 3 plants were stressed to the max, 1 gallon pots, rootbound, 10+ months old, kept falling over, fried with nutrients, amd i kept falling asleep with the tent open and my tv on all night, so im not even sure which one(s) caused me seeds but it happened early cause ive got full on dark brown tiger striped seeds, all of them have been in the lower stuff though so far, but i havent gotten to the tops yet.

First time in years for me, I'm not sure wtf happened but I'm ordering new timers, just in case my light timer is faulty.....I have a bunch of them and some work well but only have 2 prongs/ no ground so my lights can't go in them and the timer I'm using for lights scares me with tiny pins that if just 1 is off just a bit and kicks my light on for 15 min in the middle of the night.......
This batch has been treat well there should be no shock to them, but I do have them on for 12.5 off for 11.5 with far reds on for 15 min at night to put them to sleep....or so the story goes. I may have fked that up with them by starting them in flower at 12.5/11.5 where I should have started 12/12 and after a week or 2 until they start to show then increase by 15 min to start then move to 30 and even up to an hour extra light I read....next time...lol

I too had a
few seeds this run, feminized photoperiod, my fault trying to run em too long and less attention. I am glad I am giving up 3 days work so I can "tend my Garden", we have a little or a lot invested in our own work and we deserve the best harvest we can perpetuate, right? Live an learn. SS

Its more traumatic to me because I found seeds at 8 weeks in flower when I was expecting a beautiful bumper crop then WTF right there on top of a pretty buds a fully grown mature seed....My heart sank...oh no not again...then another seed...and another..oh shit they're everywhere......arrrg........still some pretty sticky buds...I'm sure I'll get enough to keep me in smoke until my next harvest is done....in about 3 months

Ya I've been spending a bunch there lately setting up what I need to turn pens of different sizes & the pen kits themselves aren't cheap. Its like $100 bucks every time I walk in the place just for hardware and the acrylic blanks. I ordered a bunch of kits and blanks off Etzy but I doubt they're of the same quality as LV, still less than 1/2 price of the LV stuff even adding in shipping from China.He did say Fuck fuck fuck.

Shipping is an issue and it pisses me off it will cost me $50 Cdn to get shipping from USA, $25 from Europe & Canada & $8 from China or free off Amzon........There's a company in Vermont...Vermont Freehand that has all the pipe making supplies I need and exotic woods I'd like, there prices even with the $ exchange are good then they add on shipping fee's and its fuck that I'll order elsewhere. I spoke to them and its out of their control shipping is what it is and if I want their stuff I gotta pay the shipping........I guess I don't want their stuff

I pulled the Trainwreck I believe was the guilty plant today, pretty and I'm not sure how seed loaded it is but I'll dry it first before I start ripping the buds apart

No not yet, I'm still concerned about dust...4 down 2 to go and my plants will be all chopped down and drying. Then a few more days before I can let the dust fly. I broke my brand new pen press last night, cheap fking thing I bent it out of shape and now it doesn't work, $150 tax in.....Leevalley better replace it for me or that'll be the last visit to their store......Almost $50 more than an Amzon pen press and it bent trying to press a pen part together?? I could use my drill press to put them together but I thought I'll get the right tool....I wouldn't have bent my drill press...fkin cheap thing.....onwardNice PC. Been a while since an update, I've been making a few pens this week and I'm just about out of pen kits so today I start with pipes again. I've been holding onto 2 pieces of Bethlehem Olive wood I bought back in Sept, nows the time to get atter.
My girls in my 5x5 are doing well, the Wedding cake is having a rough start but she's getting better, I was thinking she was having issues with the ph of my water but now that she's hooked up to the auto pots she seems to be doing better now.

Ya, he's camera shy too. I put 1 pen on him and snapped a quick shot......he didn't move...I tried 2 pens....same no movement then I went all in with 4...lol.....He hates my camera, not sure why he let me take these pics.. He was in his happy place I guess, if you'll notice he's on his green bag, He loves his bag...lol

I fked up a pretty piece of Olive wood yesterday but today I put 2 fk ups together and made 1 functional pipe. A Canary wood pipe bowl with an Olive wood stem, not the best color match but with a little modification they fit

I made an Olive wood pipe yesterday, I screwed up 3 stems trying but finally got one turned and fit, The grain doesn't blend but its a start, the first 2 pieces may have matched a bit better but eh.....I gotta do something about the connection between the stem and bowl, the fit is tight but I don't like the line separation. I need a band between the 2 parts.
I flipped my girls last night to 12/12 and turned on the Far reds for 15 min at lights out. I'll give them 10 -14 days as is then increase the lights on 15 min then another 15 min 2-3 days later to run 12.5 on 11.5 off.
I've had some problems with my Wedding cake, she's had leaf problem on every segment until recently and she's now putting out huge fan leaves, She's a week or 2 behind the rest and not topped like all the others have been but they all look healthy going into flower.
