Dont have to worry about humidity here furnance still running and five feet of snow to go lol
Cost of living the dream. How are the black flies where you are?

Snows gone here, again, but lots of rain, wind and occasional ice or snow. Should get better by next week if the news is right.

I tried turning off the furnace but it dropped below freezing the next night. Wife has low tolerance for cold so it’s been on again since then.

We don't have any snow but the furnace is still running hard. I have it at 50 rh at my desk at 18c inside the 5x5 it is 26C @71%. I just adjust the temp down a hair and as I opened up the tent it dropped to 69%. I have my 6"exhaust on full speed...too many leaves still on I gotta get some more off today and see if that'll help.
I have my intake fan off most of the time, so the air comes in naterally and maybe the exhaust can take out more hummi air?
Depends on how your intake is, I guess, if air still flows in when the fans shut down.

Hey, Gmorning, No black flies yet that joy is still ahead of us, 8c and grey today, no rain yet but its dark out there. We gave our boys their tick treatment yesterday and 2 of our boys now hate me...lol...they'll get over it but they hate getting that goo put on the back of their neck. Coal is fine but the other boys are keeping there distance Dusky won't let me get close to him and my boy Qnight is hiding. Sensitive cats...lol...

I like having fresh air come in because my basement is so dusty. if I shut down my intake air it will pull air from my basement, cough cough. When I was down there last night It was sitting with the door 1/2 open dehue running on full blast and I got it down to 66%...sigh....Its funny my 3x3 in the same room with a 4" intake was at 52% at lights out...too many leaves pumping out too much moisture. I have an air purifier upstairs here I may take it downstairs today and as you say shut down the intake. I bought this a couple years back for about $200 when Dusky was doing a lot of coughing, He now gets asthma treatment and its shut off up here now.

That's a realy nice air purifier, I have 2 that are ok and was thinking of putting one in the grow room
next time to clear out some of my hairs from floating around.

That's what I didn't know about your air intake.
Not good if it just pulls the air in from the basement,
I thought it would continue to pull from outside air still, just slower than your fan would pull.

Without the grow room doors closed and the dehumidifier on we are in the high 60’s low 70’s for humidity. I’m usually going for 55% high in veg but now that I’ve flipped to flower I’ll be trying for 45%RH.

Not liking these new normal conditions.

Yesterday morning when I opened the tent I was at 77%.....Something aint right. I've messed with the intake and exhaust but with doors shut it climbs too high. No issues yet just 2 weeks in but I can't let buds form at 77% yikes.... dehue in right outside the tent sitting at 50% on full speed non stop. Plants put out a lot of water.

I’ve kept the room closed all day. Set the tents for 45% RH. The rooms at 23* and 33% after running the dehumidifier all day. Tents never got lower than 48% but I’ll take it.IMG_9652.jpeg

It’s going to improve soon. May is only two weeks away. Then the black flies come out. 😳
