Dont have to worry about humidity here furnance still running and five feet of snow to go lol
Cost of living the dream. How are the black flies where you are?

Snows gone here, again, but lots of rain, wind and occasional ice or snow. Should get better by next week if the news is right.

I tried turning off the furnace but it dropped below freezing the next night. Wife has low tolerance for cold so it’s been on again since then.

We don't have any snow but the furnace is still running hard. I have it at 50 rh at my desk at 18c inside the 5x5 it is 26C @71%. I just adjust the temp down a hair and as I opened up the tent it dropped to 69%. I have my 6"exhaust on full speed...too many leaves still on I gotta get some more off today and see if that'll help.
I have my intake fan off most of the time, so the air comes in naterally and maybe the exhaust can take out more hummi air?
Depends on how your intake is, I guess, if air still flows in when the fans shut down.

Hey, Gmorning, No black flies yet that joy is still ahead of us, 8c and grey today, no rain yet but its dark out there. We gave our boys their tick treatment yesterday and 2 of our boys now hate me...lol...they'll get over it but they hate getting that goo put on the back of their neck. Coal is fine but the other boys are keeping there distance Dusky won't let me get close to him and my boy Qnight is hiding. Sensitive cats...lol...

I like having fresh air come in because my basement is so dusty. if I shut down my intake air it will pull air from my basement, cough cough. When I was down there last night It was sitting with the door 1/2 open dehue running on full blast and I got it down to 66%...sigh....Its funny my 3x3 in the same room with a 4" intake was at 52% at lights out...too many leaves pumping out too much moisture. I have an air purifier upstairs here I may take it downstairs today and as you say shut down the intake. I bought this a couple years back for about $200 when Dusky was doing a lot of coughing, He now gets asthma treatment and its shut off up here now.

That's a realy nice air purifier, I have 2 that are ok and was thinking of putting one in the grow room
next time to clear out some of my hairs from floating around.

That's what I didn't know about your air intake.
Not good if it just pulls the air in from the basement,
I thought it would continue to pull from outside air still, just slower than your fan would pull.

Without the grow room doors closed and the dehumidifier on we are in the high 60’s low 70’s for humidity. I’m usually going for 55% high in veg but now that I’ve flipped to flower I’ll be trying for 45%RH.

Not liking these new normal conditions.

Yesterday morning when I opened the tent I was at 77%.....Something aint right. I've messed with the intake and exhaust but with doors shut it climbs too high. No issues yet just 2 weeks in but I can't let buds form at 77% yikes.... dehue in right outside the tent sitting at 50% on full speed non stop. Plants put out a lot of water.

I’ve kept the room closed all day. Set the tents for 45% RH. The rooms at 23* and 33% after running the dehumidifier all day. Tents never got lower than 48% but I’ll take it.IMG_9652.jpeg

It’s going to improve soon. May is only two weeks away. Then the black flies come out. 😳

I did the last 2 runs from 5 weeks in flower - 9 weeks then the blues go on and reds off the last week 10 days
I’ll see how it goes then. I’m only finishing the first week.

I picked up a few of these for the grown room. They are supposed to be the best off the shelf color you can use around plants at lights out.

Most red LED bulbs sold for colored decorative use emit in the 620–660 nm range, which is the plant-safe band for night lighting.

I was always told red was for dark rooms and green was for green houses. Shows how decades of passed down info can be wrong.

I’ve run out of ceiling space again in the tents. Going to have to clip the lights to the roof bar. Buys me a few more inches.

How’s things going on your end? News weather shows your getting most of the rain and crap we are just a few days later. We’re at 12* and fog with on/off rain. More thunderstorms.

It’s going to be June before the humidity gets better at this rate. I’m strongly considering buying a backup dehumidifier. $190 makes it tempting. Then I can use two at the same time if needed. 🤔

Been a while since you posted any pics so I hope the plants are doing well. 👊

Hey Gday, I was having a heck of a time with humidity in my 5x5 I couldn't figure out what was going on...I had my 3x3 exhaust fan going to a Y fitting attached to a 6" exhaust duct coming out of the 5x5....or so I thought...... I was actually dumping my 3x3 air exhaust into my 5x5.....I had the 6"fan backwards. After a bunch of ripping duct out and flipping my 6"fan I have it fixed.

I also had a plant looking funny after I gave them their first shot of KoolBloom liquid I thought I'd fed it too heavy too early...next day worse the following day was WTF is going on plant looked horrible I opened the feed tray and it was dry Fk a plugged line. I fixed it and amazingly the plant perked up. It wasn't hanging like a dry plant it just looked off or I would have recognized its problem...anyways its up and perky again. The rest are looking great. I'll take some pics later and post them up.

I was running out of some of my nutes, I usually order from indoorfarmer.ca but they were out of them in Quart bottles, Amazon wanted a $15.95 delivery fee and there's nowhere else I could find that didn't have like a minimum delivery order at $199 + before free shipping. I found one of the last remaining grow stores that keep GH nutes about an hours drive away from us so we made a run yesterday. He was fking expensive but at least I have the 3 additives I needed.....Cal/mag, Diamond Nectar and Koolbloom liquid =$125 from indoorfarmer $90 ish and from them I only need $125 for free delivery so I could of added another bottle of something for the same cost...+ gas...anyways..morning bitch ..lol....

I bought some red led lights years ago cheap, 4 - 4ft strip lights that are not available any longer for like $30 off Amzone, I used them in my veg room but they made my plants stretch far too much so I stopped using them. It was years later I got into using the Far red pucks them the SF far red booster bars. I still have the old ones but I have no use for them. They are just long pinkish looking bars but probably in the 650nm range like your lights above. I tried offering 1 to my son as alight in his apartment but hes not into having a red light shining out of his apartment windows.....lol..

Rain and grey about 12c today same as the day before and the day before that and most likely tomorrow and the next day and day after that...pessimist here fkin rain and gloom gets to me.

Even though it’s wet and miserable it’s warmer. My depression is less. I notice the change.

Plus 8 ball with my son has turned into a once a week occurrence which is nice. A few hours of pool and a couple pictures of beer make for a good night out these days. Wish we started in winter as it would have helped my spirits.

At least you caught the clogged line before the plant suffered any issues. People seem to have this happen more often than I would have expected. What’s the main cause and why does it keep happening?

My moms area north of Fenelon Falls is starting to flood again. She’s okay for now but her place is one of the highest. Two or three properties to the south and past are already flooded. Luckily the firefighters and volunteers are already handing out sandbags and setting up pumps. She’s only had a few minutes all week to try and update us.

Here’s a good place with good prices. I used to buy 90% of my stuff there but they are online only now. Maybe they have better prices. IMG_9687.png

I’ll be back later to look at any pics.👊

April 16
My plants are doing well now that I fixed above's small issues. I have 2 levels it seems the back has grown far more than the front. I" can drop the back plants 4" by pulling out 1 of the 2 plastic crate lifters. Its just an awkward job being back plants and that will throw off my autopots so I'll need to rewire them so the front and back have 2 different supply lines.

My 3x3 Strawberry pups is an unruly monster. the side lights are making the lowers stack and its loaded with buds at 6 weeks old today she's going to be a beaut.

My 2 clones are doing well I game them a first feed since transplant yesterday. I may have to top 1 its getting taller than I need atm.April 16 Blue Dream.JPGApril 16 Bubba Mac n Cheese.JPGApril 16 group 2.JPGApril 16 group.JPGApril 16 Straw purp buds.JPGApril 16 Straw purps 6 weeks.JPGApril 16 Strawberry Purps Clones.JPGApril 16 Strawpurps.JPGApril 16 clones.JPG
