Nice dude Im glad to see she is picking up and throwing some roots...any ideas as to what was goin on?

Me and g$ been talking about cloning woes maybe it's just that time of year shit gets a little tougher....hell yea tho ready to see how she does!

Hell yea Grump~!

Thanks bro. I couldn't guess what took her so long. I think I've been planting my plugs too high in the net pot or top-dressing too much. Like they've either had trouble making it through all the hydroton or they just been hanging out up there thinking there's plenty of water. First plant took a while also. I won't use the second plant as evidence cuz it was a dud.

Gave her a little trim/training session. Next time I think I'll stick with just the two main stalks instead of the four. The runners off of the two mains are just as vigorous as the two secondary stalks. All in all she's doing good. Steadily chugging down her 530ppm cocktail.

I like your clips on the lid of your tote to hold your scrog down... nice idea
Glad to see you have her growing well Grumps.I’m happy for ya mate..she looks healthy.💪😎
Nice work Grump, impressive recovery bro 👊
Thanks fellas.

I'm thinking FIM in a week and flip in 2. It's been 9 weeks from sprout. A long road but we're nearing the end of veg. I'm excited to see Eileen stretch 😍

My largest fan leaves so far

Went in tonight and gave her a final trim/train before I flip. I'll be going to bed a little defeated and disappointed. Everything was looking good until I cleared some leaves covering the center of the plant. She's completely grown herself apart. I'm unable to pull it back together because of the knotting in the trellis. This had to have happened in the last couple days because I was recently admiring that knuckle. Am I totally fucked?

Nah man if anything she gonna fuckin hulk smash now, your good homie put a little electrical tape over her ...I think @CannaGranny uses honey or molasses maybe?

They like this in flower (maybe not always in flower) or prior to flower...I watched a dud plant snap the main un-topped cola behind a chicken coup due to wind, checked it a month later and it was outta control like 4 times the size and ended up dropping like 2 lbs of bud...not my plant but a good friends

Fuck I hope that's the case. I saw it and nearly yeeted the whole plant off the back porch.

Don't do that....doctor that wound watch it and man if the leaves tell ya she is happy letter rip....I'd tape or wrap that spot with garden wire just to make sure it doesn't give out when she gets really heavy....but yea man...rock n roll

Lmfao at yeeted...my stepson I always tell him he's a yeeter

I'll show you a split stem when I get in the room for pics.
The plant loves abuse and you are loving it~! :D
Don't do anything different.
No tape, honey or anything. Your plant will be fine~!
Don't worry you and the plant will be fine.

Thanks everyone. I knew they liked stress but I wouldn't have imagined this much to be a good thing. I just can't believe she did it to herself. Crazy plants.

Should I give it a week or so before I flip or will flipping encourage her to heal that up quicker? I was gonna give her a few days to recover from the trim, but if I need to, I can wait an extra little bit.

I personally would give it a few days to recover, because my thoughts are if you flip now it'll put energy into healing that wound that it could've put into stretch.

She's lucky I'm patient, then. I'll keep a close eye on it but I'm running out of screen. She may start going vertical before I flip.

I would just give her enough time to be sure she is OK.
Happening on the 11th I would think you could flip anytime after today if you are in a hurry. I think the days since have showed her to be all good with the stress.
Otherwise during the week or next weekend should cause no issue IMO.

Sweet. I can wait an extra week. This happened 4-5 days ago and I've still witnessed some great growth since and have been tying her down every other day. The split doesn't seem to have slowed her down.

My hydro Ghost Train Haze did the same thing. I yeeted her off the back porch :ROFLMAO:but I also had other plants in the stable and I was tired of her being so high maintenance.
The good thing is stalks are hollow so it looks bad but the vascular system still looks intact. I'd be tempted into doing some type of splint not to repair but prevent further splitting
Good luck with that ornery bitch Grump!🤞🤞🤞

^^ I agree with this^^
You can see in my pic that I tied the splitting with pipe cleaners to keep her from spreading more.
I did not split it. I tied her apart and the next day like yours she was split/ splitting.
I didn't want to negate the effort to spread her especially after damage but did not want to chance more damage.

When this happens to me outdoors I just put a stake each side away from the stem to hold up those 2 branches and to take the weight.lift up the branches so they are closer together .tape or tie the branch to the stake..ive even used clamps lol to close them right up.it never heald up though.mine were splitting down past a couple nodes..I was using these 😃
